You know I haven't got any practice with doing that sort of thing on my own, and when I've got someone else new with me isn't exactly the time for experimenting." Lyn smirks at her, returning the wink and leaning in for a kiss, as she strokes the ears of the bunnygirl in Fel's lap, eyes darting to the side to see the reaction from their guests to the pair of them making out.

It would barely qualify as a home, but someone does live here. In the badlands, near a rocky hill, a smooth circle where the stone has melted and solidified, outlined by ash, with depressions that hold ever-burning flames. Under the overhang, with a small burning barrier built up around it to keep out water and curious animals, are numerous wooden crates and a casually discarded lightsaber.

And here, kept warm by the fire, two no-longer-werecreatures should be waking up soon, next to a half-eaten allibison, blood and minor injuries still on their hands (or at least fangs).

Susan wakes up with a gasp, and looks around the fire pit, muttering as she massages her head, "Ugh...What the hell happened?" She then looks down at herself and realizes she's stark naked, and shrieks, scrambling up as she tries to cover herself with her arms.

Skye sits up, rubbing her eyes.
"Ugh. Why are you yelling? Oh. Hmm."

Stands up, looks the girl over, not caring to hide. Notably not on fire right now.
"I'm not really sure. Should I know you? Probably you know better than me."

Susan glares back at Skye and says, "Who the hell are you? And where are my clothes! And my gear!"

[Recaiden]

"I don't know, lady. You are the one who showed up naked in my house."

Skye frowns at the intruder. Eyes slowly open in suspicious realziation.

"Uh, what day is it? And do you have any recent injuries?"

Steps closer to look at Susan. For injuries only, of course.

Susan blinks a few times, caught off-guard by the questions, and says, "(Day after the full moon), why? And yeah, actually...This weird wolf attacked me. Tackled me to the ground and then went and got me food..." She looks at her arm where it bit her, though the wound is gone, and mutters, "Weird...I could swear I thought it bit me..."

"Sister!"
Look out, Susan. Someone is trying to hug-tackle you.
"You must have been pretty bad off, huh? But now you're free and healthy and everything. Oh, tell me everything!"

Susan tries to push Skye away and shouts, "Argh! I'm not your sister! What the hell is going on!?"

Skye is pushed away after just a moment of hugging the new were-person, and sighs.

"You're a, theri-thera-were-creature now, like me. No need to thank me aloud."

"WHAT!?"

"Might take a little bit to adjust, but this is all for the better."
Skye moves around Susan as she explains, being probably way too close and touchy.
"On the full moon, one takes on an animal form, your mind freed from conscious thought. And any time other than the new moon you can take it on, retaining a bit of awareness. Even as a human, you're a bit stronger, faster. You heal really quickly, basically you're better in every way."
She may be somewhat biased. Skye leans in and sniffs the new creature.
"You're, hmm, a snake I think. How cool, not to have limbs."

Susan tries to scooch away from Skye as she says, "Why?! Why am I like this? What...Oh godsss." A hand flies to Susan's mouth as she covers a forked tongue flicking out, and swallows before saying, "No! I don't want thisss!"

"Take a moment to think about it, and you'll see that this is better."
Skye does let her move away, and drifts back to the overhanging part of the cave to put on a robe and brush her teeth.

Susan simply sits and cries for a little while, mourning the loss of her humanity. Eventually, she lies down and considers her options before eventually asking Skye, "So...What do I do now?"

"Whatever. You might want to get any belongings you left behind wherever you transformed."
Skye grins.
"Then go out in the world. Live, love, learn. Share your gift."
She tosses Susan a fireproof red poncho. Can't hurt to have.

Susan sighs and says, "How close are we to where you...Bit me..."

"Not so far at all. This place is just outside Her Hunting Grounds. Head that way *points* and you should find a familiar landmark."

Skye grins, and goes to pat Susan on the shoulder.

Susan sighs and asks, "Will you come with me? The hunting grounds are less dangerous with company."

Darn good job of it, nice and fast. You would think it would be hard to be that accurate just digging with paws, but when it comes to chores seelie can pull off some pretty impressive stuff.

Well, depending on the race, anyway.

Well, Rey sure does work quick! Was there no end to his skills? One assumes Harvey will continue to appreciate Rey's help for the foreseeable future.

Well, until he needs his shoes fixing.

Once there is a sizeable amount of ground open for trampling, Harvey will tell his son to get started trampling it flat. 'How big do you want it to be, Grant?' he asks. The shelter wouldn't be any good if it wasn't spacious enough.

As Rey continues digging, he'll come across a more solid area of ground. The soil is compacted and dryer...

Rey does the most reasonable thing imaginable when encountering something new and unexpected. He leans down and sniffs at it.

'Okay then, I'll start marking out a boundary,' Harvey says. 'It's fine, we'll make it as big as it needs to be.'

One would assume Rey has a pretty good sense of smell. The soil doesn't have a terribly different scent from the rest, but it's masking something else... a ferrous odour, that's leaking up from below.

Maybe after a bit more digging...

'Something up?' Harvey looks over at Rey in curiosity. 'Or just tired?'

Sunder doesn't know anything about these things! But she can guess. If someone sees time and can see lots of doomed possibilities, that means seeing TONS of visions where all your friends die horribly. And that's just awful.

"Can't you just... geeze, I dunno, turn it off or something?"

That seems like a thing someone should be able to do. Sunder has trouble controlling her punchy magic sometimes. That's why she wears her magic hoof booties; they do the controlling for her. She glances down at said boots and frowns. Hey! Now there's an idea!

"Or maybe we could find a magic item that will help control them for you?"

What helpful unliving abomination Sunder is.

Reynardine shakes his head as he continues scratching at the hard, dry earth. "Aye, some are. But mostly just the ghostly ones. More often faeries are simply warded off by it and only because mortals believe we are. We come from the Dreamlands, after all. Mortal dreams shape us."
