As far as venting goes... I'm in a bad period.

Amongst other things... I've been doing some research on medical discourses about trans people, which were very stigmatizing and invalidating. At some point, it hit me, hard, so much that I had to take a day off everything. And because of the stress, I have a hard time going back up.

Also, I've been feeling more and more limited because of my Asperger's syndrome.

The word androgynous used to mean neither male nor female always bothered me because the prefix andros- means male.

It does get weird when people shorten androgynous to simply 'andro', which I've seen around a fair bit.

Its quite unusual for her, certainly. After all, she is a shining example of trans-acceptance and allyship.

To be fair, the overwhelming majority of cases probably turn out to be late bloomers rather than aromantic.

I have a friend with anti-social who is also asexal-aromantic. I won't go into the details out of respect for her privacy, but she ended up committed at one point. After that ordeal, I visited her at her new apartment and she tossed me her lengthy medical file, basically saying 'look how crazy I am, it's an interesting read' in a playful sort of way. So I did and man did those doctors harp on that asexual-aromantic thing. They must have brought it up literally fifty times in as many pages.

I don't bring it up that often but the last social worker/psychologist I saw actually knew what asexuality is so that was nice. Although the two or three before that hadn't heard of it and one of them didn't believe it was real. I wonder what their notes look like.

Talked with my sister for a while. I didn't feel like talking to much about dysphoria. But we talked about names, a little about makeup, and how I figured stuff out. And we hugged for a good fifteen minutes. So today is much better than yesterday.

(Yesterday I was just in a mysterious crummy mood and then things got worse when my friends accidentally left me behind and I spent about ten minutes crying in a corner.)

Yeah, we are definitely behind in this. And while todays vote was important, this law still has a long way to go before it'll be in effect.

But as said, let's hope this was the last steep hill on the road.

EDIT: To clarify though, in Finland people with same sex can 'register their relationship', which means legally almost the same thing as getting married. This law is mostly about everyone having the right to the word 'marriage' and to end the stupidity to have two almost identical laws about the same thing.

Anyway, who knew that when i posted in one of these threads four years ago as an idiot 13-14 year old that i would visit it again? I didnt. Im just full of surprises.
thing is a few months ago i gazed into the darkness i call 'self' and found that im Bisexual. I didnt tell anyone but here on the forums and another forum i frequent.

It might be just my vanity and pride, but i never had any sort of angst/anxiety about it. Also its the fact that apart from a readbait 'report' in a newspaper bisexuality isnt spoken of here so there is no 'cultural charge' so to speak about it.
