I agree that the vampire formerly known as Durkon is acting rather strange in this one. It seems like he's worried about not reaching the gate in time, and then before the rest figure a way out, he wanders off. Just seems off to me. If he was actually worried, you'd think he'd stick around to see what happens when Haley goes to negotiate.

Unless he "wandered off" to do some Domination in order to improve the price and time situation...

I mean, as long as we're inventing stuff that's not shown: I am really worried that that beer brewery Durkon opened up the street is an ill wind that blows no good... what do you think he's up to there?
