Is it a new kind of Wesen?

Re: Grimm pays homage to D&D
Yup. Damn ugly one too.
Spoiler: Spoilahz
The usual unpronounceable Pig German name that translates to 'Memory Eater'...4 spike-tipped tentacles that sprout from its face (plus some smaller ones); it grabs the victim's head, drills into their brain from behind, and sucks out their memories to leave a dementia-riddled shell behind.
Spoiler: Promo screencap

Re: Grimm pays homage to D&D
Yeah, I noticed that. It was a little bit odd, but I suppose they've had stranger things as major plot elements. Like blowfish-headed-voodoo-zombielord-man. Still, weird to see such an overt reference.

Re: Grimm pays homage to D&D
Yeah - at least this one was an actual Wesen, even if the pseudo-bio-science makes even less sense than usual (devouring memories because of electrical impulses in the brain? wut). There was the Mexican ghost in Season 2, and apparently Season 4 is going to feature the Golem of Jewish myth.
I kinda liked blowfish guy, though. Actually calling himself Baron Samedi felt like a wink-nod-nod at the fourth wall of how Grimm uses real-world mythology for its monsters even when they have to be shoehorned in, while still being in-character to the guy himself and his obvious love of over-the-top theatrics.Last edited by The Glyphstone; 2014-10-25 at 02:58 PM.
