    BOOP!

The boil is poked, causing it to explode in a disgusting shower of rancid fluid! Sadly, there doesn't appear to be anything inside that one. Just gross smelling gunk.

In a rather keen display of reflexes, Sharps manages to leap behind a frozen worm with an "Eeep!", safely avoiding the oozing spray. The spear may or may not spare Tanya from being slimed.

    Gross...

There are still two boils left. One of them might have something useful in it! Or maybe they're all just gross cysts there to mock people with their disgustingness. Tanya could pop those ones, too. Or she could just see about leaving the room.

Tanya recoils from the goop, length of the spear keeping her from being slimed, no doubt a good thing. She shrugs and, somewhat more carefully this time, pops the other two from as far away as possible, trying to avoid being goop'd upon.

    Oh, no.

Precipice has been burned by trap double-doors way too many times to fall for this one again. Though given that he vaguely remembers the face on the statue he was hoping it would warn him of danger or something.
Either way, he had been approaching the door from the side and carefully pushing one side of the double door open, meaning he was definitely not in the line of fire.

That being said, he just activated a trap in the middle of a public room. He looks around. If anyone appears to be staring at him or otherwise drawing attention he'll go scurrying out the door he came from before any nurses get called or he has to answer questions.

    [Somewhere Awful - Precipice]

A few beings in the cafeteria briefly glance up if only to check to see if a new kind of meatloaf is about to be added to the menu. Alas, Precipice manages to avoid getting sawed to death and dives through the door just in time to see a fleshy limb tipped with the saw vanishing through an alcove in the ceiling that seals behind it.

Must be that freakish monster he met on his last escapade.

Or at least another one similar to it.

Regardless, the little acrophobia tumbles into a hallway that looks like it might actually belong in a 'normal' hospital. Precipice might wonder briefly where he got this idea of what a hospital is supposed to be like, what with his memories being fuzzy and all. The walls are white and sterile, the floor is covered in a dull blue carpet, florescent lamps drone incessantly above him, and the walls are decorated with anatomy charts of various organs and disorders.

    Also of note?

A framed portrait of The HMO.

It's an impossibly tall, wiry looking creature dressed in a fancy black suit wearing blue medical gloves. Most notable is the fact that it has a caduceus for a head. Something about the picture will likely fill Precipice with a feeling of lurking dread, as if the image were watching him with malicious intent.

There are four chairs along one one, divided into sets of two by a large potted tangle of throbbing, thorny vines that look disturbingly similar to blood vessels. Directly across from them is a water cooler. The hall takes a jaunt to the east, connecting back to the potato shrine room, which Precipice will be able to see through a window in the upper half of the door, assuming he works up the courage to hop up for a look.

    What does he do?

    [Somewhere Awful - Tanya]

    Pop those zits!

The second is empty, but the third contains what is probably a key. It looks like a key, anyway. The kind you would find in an old video game. It's even made of a bunch of little yellow cubes!

Tanya walks over and picks up the key! After a brief examination, and assuming nothing else happens, she says to Sharps, "Let's press on, shall we?" and then tries the door. If it's locked, she then tries to use the key on the door.

The door is, in fact, locked. There's a big cartoony looking key hole in it that's rather out of place on the heavy steel door. When Tanya sticks the key into the door there's a clanking sound, followed by the gross sphincter behind them squeezing shut.

    And then?

Fluid begins drizzling into the room that fizzles into thick smog when it touches the frozen worms. Thick smog that begins to make Tanya's skin tingle and sting.

"Acid!" Sharps exclaims. "We have to get out, quick, or we'll get melted into worm-food!"

And that would be the worst, getting reduced to frothy soup.

Probably a good idea to turn that wheel and yank the door open, right?

Tanya winces but nods and says, "Yeah! You go! Gimme a sec to see if I can get this door open! I'll be right behind you!" And, with that, she does try to get it open, but if it doesn't come readily, she flees the room, hopefully following Sharps.

Precipice gulps, and pads over to the water cooler to give it a good inspection. there has to be something useful around here somewhere. If not, maybe he'll try looking behind the painting, though he really doesn't want to get near that thing.

With a groan the door creaks open and Sharps dives through it! He doesn't want to spend any more time in the acid than he has to. That stuff smells like pickles! Who wants to smell like pickles? Certainly not Sharps.

Beyond the door is what can only be described as a torpedo room.

There are several racks of torpedo stacked up along with a cart for hoisting them and and feeding them into one of the two torpedo tubes. The tubes are presently closed and the lights above them are green, indicating that the tubes aren't flooded with water. Or... whatever they would flood with down here. Knowing the Hospital, it probably wouldn't be water.

Also sorta begs the question why the Hospital needs a torpedo room.

Though, to be fair it probably isn't the weirdest thing here.

    Oh, wait.

    Those aren't torpedo tubes.

That's an MRI machines. And that other one is a CAT scan machine.

    ...

Why are there torpedoes in the scanner room?

Sharps sums it up pretty well.

    "What."

"Oh, hello there," purrs a giant cat in a doctor's lab coat. You can tell the cat is a doctor from the round reflective thing on its head. The cat is huge, easily the size of a panther, with deep purple fur and faintly visible, slightly lighter stripes. The creature's wide, Cheshire grin is filled with all manner of unfriendly looking teeth and its eyes burn with baleful blue light. The creature moves as if it were made of living smoke and its words drip with equal parts arrogance and indifference. "Are you here to be scanned?"

Of course a cat would run the CAT scanner.

Aside from the machines there's a computer console in here, several chairs, an end table, and a heap of magazines atop said end table. Another heavy steel door on the south end of the room leads out, though it's closed.

Sakura thinks of Adir, of course. She never really knew how many of his siblings went so far as he did. Apparently it's a lot. "Thank you, Gias." Sakura says. Now, clothes. She looks at the selection in the closet before them. "I think she might have even more clothes than you, Cessie." And that is saying something. It's pretty daunting.

There wasn't anything that catch her eye immediately but it was impossible that she wouldn't find anything here that at least fit her. She couldn't change here, she needed a bathroom or something. "His daughters... While less adventurous, their fate often proves the same. Fewer among their number take to the trade of hunting, but it is not unheard of. Or, in variance, they gain a permanent seat of power via marriage to a Court Lord, or to one of the demi-fey that often rule human settlements," Gias explains, speaking a bit more loudly due to the fact that she's facing away from Cessie and Sakura.

"Somewhere private? Well, I suppose there are other rooms, but we are already alone here, o guests," Gias explains, as though speaking to a child, though not unkindly. The tone is most likely honed from speaking with Viviana's sons. In a twittering, cheeky tone, she adds, "And I don't peek."

While there is a spectacular variety of curious dresses in Viviana's collection, a few may stand out in the crowd. If only because they seem to have some magic about them - they'll fit the form of just about any humanoid lady.

The first thing to jump out at them (literally, it seems to leap with a mind of it's own rather than fall from the wardrobe) is a slim, clingy dress made of what hopefully only appears to be spider silk and water droplets. The water does, in point of fact, wet the fingers at a touch, but whatever the dress is really made of appears to keep the crystalline spheres magically still and gorgeously intact. This odd thing emphasizes the chest - being cut low and lacking any sort of strap - and swirls around the hips, exposing a generous portion of one leg. For the lady with a bit more shame, the dress is hung up with a mantle and, optionally, a thick fur scarf from some mighty mammal. Or perhaps it's from the hide of a humongous spider?

The next and most modest of the ensembles seems to be the tailored bud of an enormous pink flower. It fits easily over the head, devouring it's user and fitting comfortably over her top half. Cascading white and green leads down in fat, felty folds from the shoulders, suddenly puffing out at the hips to a ridiculous bell shape. While very ladylike, one can only imagine what they'd look like tottering around or sitting down on all that cushion.

The third outfit is also flowery - though it is hardly a dress. It is more like an... extravagant bodysuit. Tropical orange and red covers the torso, arcing out in soft, ember-hued waves of what must be actual plant matter. It hops up off the shoulders with a huge collar, then travels down the body with the hills and lumps of an island fruit, emphasizing where it most counts. Also felty and squishy to the touch, it ends at the shoulders and the thighs, but a not-quite-transparent crystalline skirt does seem to be an optional accompaniment. The dress unsticks at the back - no, really, the folds peel open, revealing lines of a sticky substance that hold the dress's halves together as well as any zipper. It is comfy and warm to wear, once properly on.

Their last option - at least among the more interesting and least insane - is a black masterpiece made of shadow and starlight. It covers most of a lady's skin, as might be miss Cessie's preference, but seems to have an ethereal quality about it. It changes, shifts styles, flickers like a spectre. While it's look changes entirely, it never seems to expose very much, at least so it appears initially. At one moment it is an enormous evening gown, in the next it melts and becomes a slim, trim party dress, albeit a ludicrously expensive one studded with silvery gems that gleam enough to blind.

There are, of course, other options. A simple green sundress, a living viney monster that seems to attack the lady's shape and cling in the form of a teeny dress, or much more simply, the poofy-jointed, striped court clothes that Gias wears.

The horrible fae begins to hiss and spit and claw at her! It's a pretty awful foe, especially since it moves as if it were made of living smoke. That really doesn't make grappling it any easier.

    [Somewhere Awful - Precipice]

    The note is removed!

    And within?

    Precipice stops. What?
He turns the note over, and holds it up to look at it under the light. Is that seriously all it says?

    [Somewhere Awful - Tanya]

Tanya's pain tolerance is quite developed between having a healing factor enough to shrug off just about anything, as well as spec-ops training, so she deals with the clawing fairly well.

However, the annoying movement capabilities of the Cait Sith turn out to be much more annoying, and she decides to simply start pummeling the smokey, cat-like Fae, trying to simply beat her foe into submission.

It was still moderately close to the surface, yes, but it seemed like it would work quite well as a mine when the dragon decided to come out of it's cave. The extra fun part was due to just how readily earth tended to carry shock-waves, though... At the very least, it had the potential to stun the wyrm if it tread over it or burrowed below it.

But killing it while it was asleep was also fine.

"Alright, I'm fine with that. Got that spray I gave you, still?" she asked. Sure, it might be under a spell for now but she didn't quite trust that introducing some extra variable wouldn't somehow alert their now quarry. That said, she had less 'Chopping' and more 'Blasting' it's head off if she had the choice. Much more messy, true, but also much more definitive. It's generally harder for something with a brain to keep thinking when the grey matter has been mulched in with the rest of the chunky salsa-like remains. At any rate, if she got the canister back, she would apply some on both herself as well as an extra coating on her pack before tossing it towards the others, the implied intent that they mask their scents as well before going in.

"Disgraceful. To travel all this way, accept such large rewards, and then to slit a sleeping monster's throat like a coward? The noble beast deserves a noble end. Guard the princess well, this will not take long."

You can get your glory, but you keep quiet and let that thing sleep until I get the Princess out of its reach. If she gets hurt you won't get your precious reward." he hisses as he follows his "kinsman."

Giving up any advantage was not something she felt particular to. Especially against something so dangerous. Or.. Potentially dangerous.

At the very least, she was questioning just what Krait would have done to kill the monster unless... "Course, how are we to know you weren't just going to slip on in and cut the thing's throat before we got there so you could claim all the glory to your name? Not that I particularly care but I'd at least want to have some proof that you can actually back up your bark, there." she said, motioning towards Krait's belongings. Nothing ((that had been described as visually present according to memory at least)) seemed like it would be able to do in a shield-scaled beast although there was probably some magic in there somewhere if she had any guesses to make about it.

"Anyway, we don't have much time, apparently, so we probably should get going. I've got a few small explosives so if we really want to make sure that it's dead, we could plant them next to it's neck and just blow it in half. Any of you have a better idea?" she asked.

"The beast is thin and long, not wide. The cave is decently sized, but the tunnels can fit five kobolds at most. Uh, three humans. And you could just toss one of those explosives down its throat if its scales are armored enough to resist the blast. I've never seen that trick fail on a living creature, though I've never had to use it myself." says the kobold quietly, following the others' leave inside.

Krait answers simply, marching onward towards the dragon's den, without sparing even a single glance over his shoulder towards the others.

    Princess and a Dragon

Krait will find his progress unimpeded by the winding caverns, and his path, if he doesn't deviate, will take him directly towards the hoard chamber where the dragon lays sleeping. The Princess seems to be having a hard time with her singing again as she seems to be crouching on her bed, one hand to her throat as she tries to croak out a few more notes. Spako's magic assisted her for a time, but it seems that even so the magic she weaves plays havoc with her throat. She smiles when she sees Krait and mouths the word "Hurry" as she sings a little more.

The dragon on the other hand seems to be shrugging off her magic just a little as its nose flares when it takes in a breath, beginning to stir just a little.

    [The Gilded Green]

"Ooh!" Sakura takes the water droplet dress in her hands and admires it. Sakura may not know all that much about clothes, but she does know what's pretty. "Oh wow, what do you think of this one on me, Cessie?" She holds it against herself. Admittedly it looks like Sakura's curvaceous figure would spill out of it, even adjusted to fit.

    [Snowbound Tundra]

"I removed them more times than I can count. But now I do feel a bit... naked without them. It feels like they should still be there." But at least she could wear a toque easier now. She has nearly pulled it all the way down over her eyes too, making her look somewhat silly. "But you shouldn't worry too much, they have great respect for spirits. You just need to prove that you come in peace."

    [The Gilded Green]

This might take some time as the sorceress starts to inspect the various clothes, never had it felt so much like she couldn't trust the clothes she was going to wear. That black dressed seemed to be an good option, but she didn't like the way it changed. It was beautiful to look at but she prefered clothes that stayed the same.
She turns to Sakura and that monster of a dress. "Erm, not really in my taste but I'm sure you could make it justice Sakura. It's very exotic. Would go well with your hair." That whole fey-look and all.

"Well that shouldn't be too hard, right? I have you to vouch for me after all." Kitty's brow furrows. "Sooo, how well do you know these people? You lived with them, but that was a while ago? I guess I mean, do you know anything that I should keep in mind while I'm around them?"

    [The Gilded Green]

"Oh, you think so?" Sakura rustles her flowers and grins at her friend. "Well okay, I'll wear this one, then." She says decisively. Her attention goes back to the other dresses, this time with Cessie in mind. "Which one're you thinking about? That big, pink one looks cute." She giggles. It's a bit silly, but still nice!

    Tanya pummels the fae cat!

The fae cat hisses and spits and bites back!

Sharps is panicking because he isn't sure he can do anything without stabbing Tanya by mistake!

    What a mess, right?

The cait sith tries to clamp its jaws down on Tanya's neck and rip it out. She should probably try to prevent it from doing that.

    What does Tanya do?

Precipice discards the note, annoyed. He hesitantly goes over to that spooky painting and tries peeking behind it. Suspicious paintings always have secrets behind them! And if this one doesn't he'll go back to the lobby, check to see if Paranoia's popped up again, and rethink his plan.

Tanya curses and makes a weird sound something like a cat's hiss out of a human mouth as she fights the Cait Sith, waiting for an opening. When it lunges, she grins as she catches the cat's head and tries to snap it at a weird angle, trying to kill the fae.

    Princess and a Dragon

Krait points to the princess, and then down the way he came in from, back up to the surface. He plants his feet firmly on the ground, draws his polearm, and waits. It seems he means to kill the beast on his own, distracting the beast long enough for the king's daughter to meet with the rest of the party. He's not about to start the battle until she's sprinting for the exit, though. It'd be foolhardy and selfish to gamble anyone's life but his own.
