Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
I just want everyone to know that waiting for a C.V.R. meeting via opportunities is the worst. Thank you.

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
So I have more than 5 confessions now, but I'd be happy to accept any offers, especially watchful ones, as my nightmares are annoyingly high.
Does anyone have any idea what the confessions and spirit of Hallowmas will be used for?

Still am available for Confessions as well, in case anyone needs those.
EDIT: Wait, looks like I need to raise Wounds first. This might take a bit.Last edited by Grif; 2014-11-02 at 01:52 AM.

I'm also available for confessions. My nightmares are getting dangerously high.

Out of curiousity - how much does selling one's soul inconvience you? I'm asking since Hallowmas allows you to do it for some interesting items (well, one of them is certainly less interesting than the others - though it would allow a person to skip a very annoying grind required to enter a certain place - but that doesn't seem like a worthy trade).

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
Barely. The only thing I remember in detail are some options at the university in relation to Sumerset. hose re only available until you are thrown out, anyway. I'm sure there were some other occassions when it came up, but I guess they were rather minor since I can't remeber them at all. The biggest loss was to me was the steady income of Confident Smiles.

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
Seeing the new updates to Sunless Sea, I'm really tempted to write a little Let's Play, "Diary of an Explorer" style. Haven't played for a month or two, except for a few minutes after the real-time combat was implemented. Anyone interested?
Also, got my six confessions now. I'll try to get more wounds to help the last few who asked me.
Why is there no option to stab myself, dammit!Resident Vancian Apologist

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
Should be good now. I got involved in fights on Watchmaker's hill while wearing my most poncey carneval mask, a very lovely ivory ball gown, my daintiest lace gloves, some high heels and, as my only weapon, a very brittle and valuable custom-made magnifying glass. Together with my trusty Rattus faber companion, we made a bit of a show of it.
No comment as to why a respectable university professor would own any of these items.Resident Vancian Apologist

I've tried drinking blackwing absinth. For those of you with Starveling Cats, you could play with them for wounds and nightmares.

Bob's my Ghostly Presence. Also, Robert, my Unfinished Hat.
Anyway, name for a bifurcated owl.
I like meaningful names. Let's look at some owl geni.
Selenornis - Selene the moon goddess? Athene? Jubula? Ninox? Nesasio? Mimizuku? Pulsatrix (Beater)? Strix? Sturnia (starling, for some weird reason)? Alasio? Uroglaux? Ulula (howler)? Otus?Last edited by Eldan; 2014-11-03 at 09:04 AM.

I'm Cedric Appleby in-game. I've been playing for a while, so I'll be more than happy to help out where I can, and I'll usually accept social invitations.
Ain't that the truth. Waiting for Opportunity cards is frustrating. I'm waiting for the card that gives you the temporary stat buff, so I can finally increase my Scholar of the Correspondence statistic to the cap.

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
I've got a cat in a box. Would anyone be willing to send it back to me if I sent it to them?
Any idea how long it takes for the raven egg to hatch? I miss the little guy. Are there any more upgrades past that? Thoughts on a name for a Mystic Raven?
Are the two fate locked expeditions worth it? I'm considering doing one, but I'm wondering if the story and reward is worth the price? Is one better than the other?
EDIT: Also, Eldan, I'd love to read that lets play. I've been messing around with it off and on myself.Last edited by Demon 997; 2014-11-03 at 04:44 PM.

Doesn't the person you send it to have to unpack the thing (I may have made a similiar mistake earlier)? If you wanted to do it to try and get the Starvelling cat, I have 3 "spares" to give away.
Are there any more upgrades past that? Thoughts on a name for a Mystic Raven?

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
If someone would invite me to quash rumors of their illegal activities (and give me suspicion), it would be much appreciated, although menaces are so rare a commodity this season.
I'm accepting any confessions I'm eligible for, and spending my actions trying to get eligible again once I confess.

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
The temple one has some nifty lore, though nothing extraordinary, and it doesn't offer much of a reward. The serpents one is more lucrative, but its lore is somewhat lacking, imho. I don't regret spending the fate for them, but I have a massive stockpile from when I played back in the day. Your mileage might vary.

Re: Fallen London 2 - "A Starveling Thread! A Starveling Thread!"
I have lots of nightmares, if someone would be so kind as to take them away. (I'm Aubergion in Fallen London).
I've also just joined the Moon League! That's always fun.
