Out of curiosity, would anybody other than me watch a Spinoff show that was Sunset Shimmer and the Humane 5 fighting evil as horse-eared music themed magical girls wilding magic that was equal parts Power of Rock and Power of Friendship?

Isn't this what's going to happen anyways? I thought that a 3rd movie and a TV series have already been announced?
After the favorable reviews for RR, Hasbro's chomping at the bit to do just the above. That was their gameplan out of the gate anyways, provided their alien-eyed human dolls line got positive reception.
Too bad the dolls are so gaddam ugly. Maybe it's up to a Japanese toy company to eventually make Equestria Girls dolls which actually look like the cartoon characters.

Hey, ponythread... Did I ever get around to recommending Scootaloo & The Cabinet of Seers? If not, I'm doing so now... It's an interesting take on the "Scootaloo orphan" thing, which seems - among other things - to be setting up for Twilight... Making it something a bit different.

(I also saw one the other day that was doing it with Rarity. Bit of varity on the hoary old chestnut of an idea squeezes some worth out of it yet, one feels.)

She's the extremely introverted person who refuses to believe that magic exists and that their must be a logical scientific reason for all of this.

She needs t learn to open her mind to new possibilities* and learn to open up and be friendly, and unlike Pony Twilight, she didn't have a magic epiphany and defeat an evil moon deity and thus has to learn about friendship the hard way.

She's not an antagonist, but she's not an ally until towards the end oft the season, and then becomes a full fledged member in the season 1 finale.

*In Order to call yourself a scientist, you must be skeptical, yes, but must also be open enough to accept that you are wrong and that their are things you don't know or don't understand. So called "skeptics" who go into a situation stating that :this doesn't exist" and then perform experiments that have no chance of failing to "prove them right" have no right to call themselves scientists and the fact that they do infuriates me more than you'd believe.

I remember when I played Trixie in that Super hero adventure. Trixie was not happy that her life was being recorded in a cartoon show. Somehow. Too bad we never got around to the idea of Trixie trying to pirate future episodes so she could predict the future once she went home.

Actually, that sounds like a fun idea for a free form game. Each Player takes a different preexisting fictional character who wake up in "The Real World" and have to work together to get back to their own respective worlds. Meanwhile more and more formerly fictional beings are manifesting in the real world and not all of them are friendly...

I believe I played Trixie as of the end of Season 3, but before Equestria Girls. Trixie didn't mind that Twilight became an alicorn. That only meant Twi was no longer in the running for "Equestria's Best Unicorn". Gotta take victories where you can, right? Trixie did like that human-Earth was very low-magic. It made it easier for her to dazzle an audience. On the downside, those with magic tended to be supervillains. :x

Skeptic: Somebody who refuses to believe something until sufficient evidence confirms the possibility of it's existence.

"Skeptic": somebody who decides that something is true/false, refuses to believe they might be wrong, and ignores evidence that proves them wrong. Also taking things out of context to support their claims. The worst examples will destroy evidence that could even tangentially hint at their wrongness while fabricating evidence that supports their claims.

Because a lot of people confuse it for mistletoe, and it's often used in place of mistletoe in both fiction and IRL because mistletoe is poisonous, and both it an holly are associated with christmas.

Essentially, a bit of Holly is now called a "mistletoe" and used in the place of real mistletoe for the "two people under the mistletoe have to kiss" tradition.
