Fallout FFRP anyone?

So I've been playing Fallout recently and I keep thinking, "I wish I could do this or that," but I can't because its not an option in the game. With that in mind, GITP sprung to mind and I thought about starting a new game set in the Fallout universe.

My question is, would anyone be interested?

I enjoy FFRP and making characters, but I've never played the game before...
Is there a "crash course on Fallout" that I could read or you could say? Or is there too much for wikis to tell.

I'd certainly be interested, I haven't finished New Vegas as of yet (in all honestly I haven't even got half way). When you think you've got enough interest do you think you could let us know of any restrictions you have in mind, stuff like that. :-)

As far as I know there is no true "crash course" for fallout, the closest might be the shoodycast who have a show related to Fallout Lore on youtube. If you want a brief summary, I might be able to help:

The Fallout world is set in a universe that has some fundamental difference from are own, mainly how science works. Its a satirical depiction of what Americans believed the world would be like between the late 1940 - 1960s. They have many technological advances, laser and plasma weaponry, and full body self powering body covering power suits. Yet they don't seem to have colour TV's. Sometime during the year 2077, Nuclear weapons were launched from all over the known world. Over hundreds of years the world has changed, and people are returning to the surface, no because its safe, but because they have little choice.

The failsafe's safe that kept them alive were failing, being stuck inside a cold metal bunker underground was driving them insane. The reasons why some people chose to leave the underground bunkers are many. There are other survivors, those that where to far away from the initial explosion to die, but close enough to be poisoned by the radiation, became what is known today as Ghouls, their skin is ripped and falling a part in places, they don't look all that pleasant. Some of course managed to escape Ghoulification while not being in a bunker, some of them have gone quite insane, after all the only education is that which can be passed from father to daughter etc.

That ended up being longer than I planed actually. oh well, I hope that helped you.

Will Fallout 1 lore also apply? It'll be fun to RP someone who talks like The Master!

Perfect timing. Just been replaying New Vegas now that all the expansions are on my xbox. I would've gone back to FO1 and 2 but my computer is failing me and won't handle them anymore. Any location works for me.
