Castaras flips a copper coin, thinking.

Considering the voting, I'd say that pointing at Fluffers would be best, until my player finishes the database. She's been lazy and is doing it really slowly.

    ((A bit late, sorry))

The fingers point at the laundry shop proprieter.

What! I get stains out of your clothes and you point at me. Some thanks from you.

Stains removed from clothing, like blood stains out of your own clothes when you murder people!

    That's preposterous!

But the crowd doesn't think so. They take hold of Zar Peter and drag him over to the hangman's platform and hang him. Searching his clothing and finding nothing, they continue with the killings and hang Lord Magtok and Janusnori, again finding nothing and nothing. After the third innocent is hung, the crowd loses it's lust for blood.

Zar Peter was lynched. He was a townsperson.
Lord Magtok and Janusnori were also autolynched. They were townspeople as well. Night begins.

Update - 4 Bandits have 58% of the remaining town gold. Outlaws are 3 out of 14 remaining players.

((What a quiet night that was))

In the morning, just before dawn, a gunfight is heard on main street. People just can't believe the number of rounds being fired. Out of fear for their safety, everyone keeps their heads down so as to keep it from getting hit by stray bullets. As a result, no one can identify the killer.

Later that evening, a bard by the name of Jim Stafford* can be heard singing the tale in the Saloon. It goes something like this...

From the bad lands came the killer
He lived by the knife and the gun
He'd cut you just for standing
And shoot ya if ya tried to run
He was big as a tree
    And did as he pleased
And everything he did was bad
And they said if you was to kill him
    It'd only make him mad

From the Pie lands came the cowgirl
    Cassie was her name
She was hot on the trail of that killer
On a moped she called Flame
Coz the killer had killed her daddy
    For spittin' in the road
You only had to kill her daddy once
    To get that girl P.O.'d

    Chorus:
Yippee aie ay Cow Pie girl
Yippee aie ay Cow Pie girl
She rode into town to find
The man that killed her daddy
Yippee aie ay Cow Pie girl

The killer hit town at daybreak
At the door of the local saloon
    He started to drinkin'
you could tell he was thinkin'
    There'll be a showdown soon
Cassie hit town in a cloud of dust
Ol' Flame was buzzin' like a saw
And the whole town got quiet as a church
When the killer stepped out for the draw
    Forty shots rang out
    Forty people fell
Cassie and the killer missed each other
But they shot that town to hell

    Chorus

Cassie took a step towards Kidd
Said it's time I gunned you down
But she slipped in something that was layin' in the street
And was shot before she hit the ground
Yes, Cassie had slipped and it cost her her life
And the killer roared out to the town
    You gotta watch your step
When you know the chips are down

    Chorus
*This is an adaptation of a real song called Cow Patti, written and performed by Jim Stafford

The townsfolk went to her house and find her will requests that she be buried with her copies of "The Little Gunslinger" magazine, volumes II-IV. However, they are conspicuously missing from her magazine rack, as is all the money in her hollowed out bedpost.

Castaras was robbed and killed, she was a villager.

((Goof had some rules written up for what to do when this happens, but I can't find them at the moment. The Outlaws sent in that kill before the Bandits did, so the bandits may not get her money. She had 3 gold pieces))

The bandits have either 64% or 68% of the towns remaining gold. Outlaws are 3 of the remaining 13 players.

Thanks again to the Outlaws for the fabulous death scene, or song as the case may be

*Mr Fluffers bleats at Mongo to help him pull the prospector out from the root cellar, since Mongo is pointing for people to help the llama.*

(?????? I have seriously accused one person this game, Zar Peter. He was a villager, yes. But his behavior was exactly what I would have done as an outlaw or bandit. I note you couldn't be bothered to include your evidence against me in your quote. That's because the vast majority of it was inconsequential. "He pointed at El J, then teamed up with him" was one. You're darn right I did. El J's awesomeness in a bottle, plus I was in his sigatar. It was a fun thing to do and if RPing fun gets me lynched then I'll be strung up everytime.)
(oh yes, and I didn't point at Cobra. That's because as soon as I was contacted by Inky, I checked with the villagers I knew were villagers to try to verify Inky's claim. By then, it started to look suspicious against poor Cobra, so I sent Alarra a PM saying "Hey! Throw some hay in Cobra's direction so the llama will have a reason to point at him. I'd rather not make the "trusted" list so obvious." But she didn't, so I figured I'd do it later, only to see 2/3 of the village pointing at the poor snake. Plus, at the time, I still didn't trust EK.)

Thanks Raldor for doing the update. To clarify - The Bandit's have 64% of the towns gold. They would not have gotten Castaras' Gold, as the outlaws had killed her at that point, thus making the location in the desert where she buried her gold unnaccessable by any means.

((That's because all you had to do was click on the little green arrow to go reread what I'd already typed. I didn't see any need to regurgitate everything since it was a simple click away. Note that I did at least link to the previous ponderings instead of obliquely reference it and make everyone go find it themselves.

Here's the long story of what I think is going on. You're BTK so you know you'll show up as an innocent on scrying. You put in a hit on El J and he got protected. That shows you he's likely someone with a role and someone who's connected. You decided to get connected too, and ask to be scried. Of course, as Kidd, you scry as a townsperson so you get added to the safe list and find out who's got what roles, which you then send in as night action kills. El J is still alive because you can't have ALL of your "friends" dying off. On top of that, you're noticing that the Bandits are making a pretty good jump on getting the game won with only one of them dead and every non-bandit killed gets them a little closer. (To wit you also started a bandwagon against a townsperson who'd already been robbed which keeps the money pool from getting any smaller. Shrewd indeed, Mr. Fluffers.)

I don't think my evidence is any more inconsequential than anything else that's been bandied about. Meatier than most if I do say so myself. Of course, I will concede that it is all circumstancial and speculative. But that's what this game's all about, no?))

Here's the long story of what I think is going on. You're BTK so you know you'll show up as an innocent on scrying. You put in a hit on El J and he got protected. That shows you he's likely someone with a role and someone who's connected. You decided to get connected too, and ask to be scried.
(Interesting logic, I like it. Well, I would if it weren't directed at me, so I hope you'll pardon me if I disagree. The plain and simple fact is that I am RPing the prospector's pack animal is because he had a llama in his sigatar. What I RP has no relevance to my role, as Mafia III will show you. You may read into it, but the prospector will back me up that this is simply done for the amusement of ourselves and hopefully others.)

Fluffers.)
(I started a bandwagon against a man who used tactics similar to mine whenever I wolfed it out. As for the money pool, you're forgetting that money can be passed around. In fact, I was half tempted to give my money to Alarra since she had already been robbed, but she told me not to. )

I don't think my evidence is any more inconsequential than anything else that's been bandied about. Meatier than most if I do say so myself. Of course, I will concede that it is all circumstancial and speculative. But that's what this game's all about, no?))
One last point, what role could El J have that I would have jumped on as his friend? The banker is the only role that hasn't been killed yet and no one has stepped up to disclaim Ink.)

(Also, Indurain's killing which included me was written by him, a bandit. No good bandit wants to include himself in the killings because you never know when the villagers are gonna draw that connection.)

(Now lets look at you, Mr. Mongo. You're a Friendly Banter boy, so is Cobra Ikari. It seems to me that if you were BTK, you'd have been sure to include Cobra as one of your picks because folks of a feather flock together.)

Yes, it's amusing. I'll give you that. And I'll admit I bit on the Mafia III thing pretty well. Nicely done. But that's not here and therefore irrelevant. Also makes for a good cover story.

That would be the role of John Wayne, the day baner. Nice of you to forget. And I'm sure you didn't know his role when you came to him, just that he was worthy of protection early on and therefore likely "in".

And Indurain? I've had no occasion to interact with him. What about the other people here who frequent the FB and were proven to be innocents? Would I not surely have enlisted Castaras and/or Raistlin if I were forming an FB gang?

I'll refrain from the "vigorous defense" charge since I would, honestly, expect anyone on the chopping block to do what they could to try to avert it, regardless of their role.

Now, to get back in character...
