(INC) The Eternal Torment- Combat

ENTOS Falls to the ground patting at his chest and armor, his own blood upon him. She had dealt him a nearly killing blow, for the sake of her own soul. He stands up and begins to dance, his feet hitting the stone floor with a beat that seems to make Osmans Heart race. (inspire Courage +1) He seems to grow verbally quiet, unsatisfied with the audiences response.

(OOC: We're teleporting this combat to the Group Combat thread. Head over there for the tag team match. We'll be starting Reginald and Ebon Nebula's solo matches in this thread.)

Reginald:

Reginald appears in a 50'x50' stone arena. He is 10 feet north of the southern wall. 30 feet away is a giant weasel, making it a medium-sized creature. Roll initiative!

Ebon Nebula:

Ebon Nebula appears in a 50'x50' stone arena. Across the way from him appears a goblin dog, snarling and leaving saliva everywhere. Ebon Nebula reaches for his lute and his hand passes right through it. Although it is strapped to his back, it appears to be incorporeal. Roll initiative!

The goblin dog snarls at Ebon Nebula and charges forward, leaping into melee range! (Charging)

ENTOS takes a step back from the snarling Beast. He begins to dance in front of the beast spinning to the left, darting to the right, bouncing back and forth. (Bardic Performance Inspire Courage +1) He pulls forth a Miners Pick as well as he grins.

"This Dog is just a Slob, got no job, cant even eat corn on the cob."

The goblin dog leaps back into melee range and snaps at Ebon Nebula again!

Reginald deals a nearly fatal blow to the giant weasel! It staggers back, bleeding heavily on the floor. Some of its guts leak through the wounds. The creature takes one last opportunity to aggressively attack Reginald!

Reginald's blast of eldritch power strikes the giant weasel, causing it to collapse. Victory!

Reginald raises his hands, and he disappears from the arena.

He then Dances back away from the beast, doing a backflip to evade the beasts Teeth.

A sharp sneeze at the wrong moment causes Ebon Nebula's weapon to miss its mark. He then does a very fancy backflip to escape the goblin dog's attack range. The goblin dog snarls and attacks Ebon Nebula once again!

ENTOS steps back out of the range of the creature, Raising his hand above his head as a Ball of sleepy energy. He tosses the sphere past the Goblin Dog to ensure he isnt caught in the blast. (cast sleep, Dc: 14 Wil save)

The goblin dog ignores the lethargy of sleep and attacks Ebon Nebula once again.

ENTOS Narrowly dodges out of the way and casts at the hound again, working to knock the dog out into slumber. He again casts his spell. (Casts Sleep, Wil Save 14)

The goblin dog stumbles forward and falls asleep on his face.

ENTOS hoots aloud as he pulls out his rope and using both hands he ties the Dogs feet and head down tight to prevent the dog from lashing out should his first strike not kill him. Using his Mining Pick he attempts to plunge it into the Dogs Neck and slay him for good! He continues to stamp his feet moving around the Dog in a little blood dance. (Coup De Grace)

ENTOS dances with his Miners Pick, slinging blood all over the area, attempting to slosh what evers on the pick out to the audience, always looking to appease them, before driving his miners pick down upon his now helpless victim. (coup de grace)

ENTOS laughs out loud to try and engourge the crowd with him. He dances amongst the blood for them.

Ebon Nebula strikes deeply into the goblin dog with his pick. Its struggles cease, and its wounds explode with blood, actively spraying the entire area with it. The bard feels the crowd's approval spike. The creature is no longer able to resist against its bonds, but Ebon Nebula looks closely and sees some of its wounds beginning to seal over! He must act decisively or the creature will regenerate.

ENTOS frowns as he pulls out a torch with flint and steel to light a fire.

"Oh ho. you shall not steal a vistory from me! fire for you!"

once lit he touches the burning torch to the body to burn the wounds, being careful not to burn his rope.

The goblin dog's bloody flesh begins to sizzle and crackle, filling the gnome's nose with the smell of roasting meat. Some wounds have closed, but the flames manage to keep some of the larger ones open. They continue to gush blood for a time, then slowly leak down to a trickle. Ebon Nebula looks above him, and sees many red glowing eyes in the skies above watching him.

ENTOS unties the beast, the blood spilling over its silk material, giving the appearance of bloody intestines as he re coils it. He smiles up to the eyes and winks.

"Ebon Nebula the Oncoming Storm. Remember me"
