    Default Weird time issue

So I've just finished arriving at my parents' home for the winter holidays, and I tried resetting the time zone on my user settings to U.S. Central Time. But the times displayed are an hour ahead: 11:30 instead of 10:30, for instance. However, when I experimented with instead setting the time zone to U.S. Mountain Time, the times displayed match what the correct time would be there - as a result, there's an apparent two-hour time difference between the zones. Can anyone explain this and how to fix it?

Edit: Never mind, this seems to have cleared up on its own.

Check this game out! Or at least give it a thumbs up.
Why "because the plot said so" is not a good answer.
