The Room
The object of the game is to figure out what happened in the room.
You are allowed to ask a yes or no question about anything previously asked/answered or described by me. Any question that cannot be answered [yes] or [no] will simply be ignored.
In order to win the game you must phrase a detailed description of exactly what happened in the room (including in said description each and every item named in the first post... I.E. below) in the from of a yes or no question.
If the answer to that question is [yes]...
You win.
Now... The circumstances:
There is a room.
In the room is a table.
Around the table are four chairs.
Three of the chairs are occupied.
There is a deck of cards on the table.
Four hands have been dealt from the deck.
One of the hands has four aces.
There is a door to the room.
On the door is a hook.
What happened?
((If you've heard this riddle before, I'd ask that you please refrain from playing or helping the others as it would ruin thier fun.))
[edit] There is a specific answer that I'm looking for here. Yes or no questions will lead you towards that answer.Last edited by Shadow; 2007-03-29 at 04:39 PM.

Re: The Room
"There is deck of cards." - Is this a grammatical error, or part of the riddle?
Are they playing a gambling game?
Are there three people in the room?
Was there four people in the room before?Last edited by Castaras; 2007-03-29 at 04:26 PM.

Re: The Room
Both. And I've fixed it. I added "on the table" to the explanation just for you, Cas.
Remember, everything I've mentioned must be explained in the answer.
Are they playing a gambling game?
Are there three people in the room?
Was there four people in the room before?
Yes.
Stools?
Is there anything hanging from the hook?Last edited by Shadow; 2007-03-29 at 04:41 PM.
