I'm torn. If I show this to my fiancee she's gonna buy it for our cats, that much I'm certain of. But I also really, really want to show it to her.

EDIT: And if she can't buy it, then she'll MAKE it.

Mail may be a bad idea, though. It pinches hair something crazy. That's why female barbarians always have shaved legs. True story.

Given how much my cat hates wearing even a collar? No way.

Headcanon accepted. Barbarians now practice more personal hair removal than all but the Egyptian expies.

As cool as this is, I cannot see any cat actually enjoying the experience of being in armour. They don't like things over their ears; it would make too much noise and would stand out too much, thus making hunting far more difficult than usual; plus I'm sure that attacking pieces of metal to their tail would completely throw out their balance.

Practicality aside; that is awesome. If I owned a museum devoted either to art, armour or metalworking, I would want that in a big fancy display case immediately.

    Just shave the cat then.

I think I will pass on this. Grendel is already bully enough around Engel. Which is pretty funny considering she outweighs him by t least 50 lbs.

And I would imagine it will more or less tank the stealth rating of your average cat..

The obvious solution, already provided by the same site, is Samurai Cat.

My cat would look awesome in this. She'd be completely down with it.

Actually, that's about right. I own some Mail and I either have to wear cloth under it (it gets way too hot) or shave bits. Arming caps exist for a reason, I think. I have been considering lining my chain gloves with some pretty thin cloth though, cause im not shaving my arms. My hair is the worst part if it gets out from under that cap, since I decided to grow it out.

Mail shirt, not too bad. Mail coif, hurts sometimes. Mail gloves, pinch lots of arm hair. Love the look though and pairing parts of it with my kilt (a real one, not machine pleated, it has to be done by hand. something like 5-6 yards of fabric, black watch of course.) Its a fun combo with kilt, mail, and axes. it definitely gets some looks now and then. I just have to wear the mail under the kilt because of the bulk of the fabric, but that could be totally worse. (at least it's just a shirt, not a full length down-to-my-knees one)
My opinion and a dollar will get you a cup of coffee at the 7/11, most others want the dollar too :P
