Aven chooses stays outside for a little while, much more enjoying the comfort of the outside to the claustrophobia of being under a roof.

After a few minutes of standing outside the saloon, Aven's curiosity gets the better of her and she meanders to the edge of town to a little blue carriage house.

Lyna looks up at the bartender from her seat at the table with Uflgar and smiles sideways at him. The hour may still be early, but after the morning we've had? The drinks are much needed." she says and looks at Ulfgar for a moment as she lets the smile fade slightly from her lips.

"You may want to save yourself the extra steps and bring us a bottle to share. A hearty meal would be appreciated as well, if you don't mind. When you have a moment, of course." she says politely as the smile returns to her lips and a small chuckle escapes her.

Absolutely Ma'am Walt answers as he slips away into the back. A few minutes later he and one of the young ladies in the kitchen bring out a bottle of Lyna's preferred whiskey, two tumbler glasses, two bowls of green chili, a half round of cornbread cut into four wedges, a pitcher of iced water, and, a few more drinking glasses.

The more things that come to the table the more wide Ulfgar's eyes and smile get! After the last bit reaches the table, he plops down 5g on the table and thanks the server.

Ulfgar and Lyna sit and enjoy each other's company, well into the evening. After which they decide to call it an early night so they can be well rested for whatever the morning would bring.

Aven gets cold feet, and never enters Hanar's house even though he and Swizzlestick both spoke to her through the door to welcome her in. Something about the frogman worried her or made her somewhat anxious. She chose to stay outside and rooted down to rest once the sun painted the sky. Addi just laid down at her feet.

Hanar and Sticks burned the midnight oil working on spells and formulas until sunrise. Thanks to Hanar's spell both seemed refreshed by morning light despite their lack of sleep.

With roosters crowing in the distance the five of you accompanied by Oogagi waited outside of the Sheriff's office for him to arrive. He hadn't specified a time so you got there early just in case.

Oogagi addresses the group of you in broken common, it is obvious that it's not a comfortable language for him but he is attempting to meet you on your level.
I thank you. You save me from captors when you not know me. You give me safe place to recover. For this thing I thank you. I have skill to trade. I reward each in skill to pay for thanks. If it is you wish. I only need materials of power to craft and paint you skin as I paint mine.

Hanar seems unusually giddy this morning. He grins widely as he speaks. "Speaking of reward, I have shares of the money we found from the bandits for each of you." Hanar gives Lyna, Ulfgar, and Aven 73 pp, 235 gp, 47 sp, and 294 cp.

"I also found a shortbow, some arrows, and some magical horseshoes for Mayble." Hanar hands Ulfgar some horseshoes. "Apparently they magically attach to any four-legged creature, and make it very fast. Should be fun!"

He turns to Oogagi.

Ulfgar looks at the horseshoes funny and raises an eyebrow.

"Well, you don't shoe a Mammoth unless you got outhouse seats, but I'll give it a shot."

When Ulfgar places the first shoe up to Mayble's foot a strange white light eminates from it and it transforms to fit across her foot and over her toes facining around her ankle in a shackle like manner. The process repeats with each foot. They do not appear to cause her any discomfort. (Horseshoes of Speed)

"And apparently Oogagi can make any magic item you can think of, for the same price as that item- but as a tattoo." Hanar grins and rubs his hands together, thinking of the interesting things he might be able to accomplish in the future.

"So anyways, what's our mission today?"

"So, yur tellin' me I can have these", Ulfgar points to several of the items he is wearing,"as tattoos?"

"I mean, he can't convert the ones you already have. But yes, he can give you tattoos that do the same thing. Isn't it exciting?!?"

Ulfgar gets a look of slight disappointment on his face.

A long shadow stretches across the ground. As you look up you see the sheriff riding up. He is leading the two horses which are loaded with sacks hung on their saddles. Well now, y'all sure know how to make a mess. Hardly anything left of that house. He shakes his head.

Aven speaks up at this point and tells the sheriff that all that violence is not what she had signed up for. She apologizes to everyone, takes her share of the gear the sheriff brought up, which included an exotic military saddle that fit Addy well. Then she rode off to the north.

there was a good deal of gold missing from the bank bags so I had to use the reward monies to replace it. But I did have my boys bring back everything they found while cleaning up y'all's mess. I'll let y'all sort it out betweenst ya. The sheriff said untying the sacks. You can have these two horses too, if you want them.

Hanar waves goodbye to Aven as she leaves.

Hanar looks at the bags. "Intriguing." Hanar begins rifling through them to see what has been made available. He immediately snatches any scrolls or books he finds and uses Read Magic on them.

Ulfgar begins rifling through the items as well.

"Oh wow! Sticks, this bag is an alchemist's dream! It's full of potions and oils. Here, enjoy," Hanar says. Hanar plucks a ring from the bag for identification, and steps back to give Sticks room to look.

"This is a jewelers dream in is Backpack. The rest of the bag is weapons and armor pieces, save for this weird looking ring." Ulfgar grabs the ring and hands it to Hanar.

Hanar swaps rings with Ulfgar. "It appears the ring I found allows one to act despite being staggered. I shall inspect yours as well."

Sticks takes all the vials and bottles of potions and the oils and puts them in his bags.

"Ill sort them out later, I dont have the itch at the moment."

He looks over the group and sighs

"So what shall we do next?"

The Sheriff speaks up as the three men sort through the bags Well, you know I hired you on to find us a suitable spot for another township. Particulars are up to you. We haven't scouted out much past a days ride in any direction. Haven't needed to, 'till now that is. So which way you go is on you. You can head out whenever you're ready, or you can hang around a day to get your affairs in order before riding off. I just hope you're back before too aweful long. We ain't gonna hold out much longer without that new town.

Ulfgar thumbs through the bag of stones, occasionally holding one to the light. He seems happy with his find and he knows that anything not of immediate value to the team can be consigned to his shop for his apprentice to sell while you're gone. After appraising the stones he begins looking at the various weapons and armor in the sack. He holds up the rank smelling hide and it seems to be caked in mud and festering wounds. Ulfgar seems only mildly put off by the odor but anyone who gets within 5ft of him gets a sick feeling in their stomachs.

Swizzlestick checks a few of the vials while Ulfgar is busy and finds them to be useful to varying degrees. It's enough to pique his interest and get him thinking about what's left.

Hanar brings over the weapons and armor from his sack for Ulfgar's evaluation.

[OOC: You may divide the wealth however you decide. The shop will buy anything that none of you want to take with you @50% face value. I will have to compile values and get you your descriptions once I can get to my laptop tomorrow.]
