Default New Post indicator dots work about 5% of the time

Apparently, I have to get a natural 20 on my Load Webpage roll to get the little dots that are supposed to show whether a post is new to actually do so. The rest of the time, they show up as though the post were old.

    Any help?

Using Pale Moon 25.2.1 (a freshly-updated fork of Firefox) on Win 8.1 x86.

That could be the result of a corrupt cookie. Try deleting it, then see if it improves.

Sadly, that does not seem to have had any effect.

It sounds likely to be a bug in Pale Moon. Have you tried looking at the forum from other browsers to see if the problem persists there?
If my text is blue, I'm being sarcastic. But you already knew that, right?

Were you logged out when you tried it? It might make a difference.

Try logging out, flush the cookie, restart the browser, then log in again.

IE doesn't have the problem, for all the good it does me.

But now PM doesn't seem to either, so either I'm rolling an awful lot of natural 20s or the problem has gone away/into abeyance.

I wasn't, but deleting cookies logged me out, as one might expect. I have since restarted, for unrelated reasons.

Oops, now they're no longer showing up in PM.
