I'm an incredibly lucky person, and I know it. I actually think not growing my wisdom teeth in the first place (which happens only very rarely) would be slightly less lucky. I mean, it hurts a bit even through the double prescription painkillers... but I also get lots of delicious pudding, which more than makes up for it (though it probably wouldn't if I didn't get both of those painkillers.)
One of them is only available via prescription; the other is a prescription-strength version of ibuprofen (which can't be matched by just taking more of the off-the-shelf version, because of some protective coating or something.)
I feel like I'm one of the luckiest people on Earth, despite the moderate soreness.
