Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Dang. It looks like we are going to need a new manager of the schedule then, or a caretaker as I here it is called. Normally I would volunteer to do it, seeing as how I have the free time, but its probably not the best of ideas. I don't know nearly enough about the function of WW in GitP to be capable of fulfilling that position.
Does anyone else think they can become the new WW "Caretaker"?-

Interest Check: Anyone up for another round of Mafia RPG? The first round we did Who Is Kira, and that turned out fairly well. Wouldn't mind hosting a second game when available.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
My current thought is that forum Moderators can update the current schedule using their editing powers while we are searching for someone to act as a more permanent caretaker.
I MIGHT be up for creating and updating a new schedule, but I'd have to create a new thread for it, get it organized, and then ask a mod to have it stickied.Wheel of Time 3.5e Homebrew

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I wouldn't worry about it too much. WW is still amazingly popular, its just not recieving a whole lot of attention in this particular forum of GitP.
I don't believe having the moderators handle it is a great idea. It takes a week for them just to allow a game, so their interest in the organization of this subforum is minimal. I can't imagine them updating the list; even if they said they would it is highly likely to "slip from their mind".-

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
Is it (or Mafia) showing up in other forums of the GitP?
Thats part of why I suggested it as a temporary measure at best. But if you think they won't bother with organization of this sub-forum, then I guess we do need someone who is active here to take up the mantle of caretaker.
I'm up for it. I'll spend some time working on a new thread to replace this one then.Wheel of Time 3.5e Homebrew

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I'd agree that werewolf is still quite popular, but I do think the core group that used to keep these games going reliably has mostly petered out and this wasn't ever the most active or engaged forum wrt WW? I certainly think it could be restarted, but it would take some recruitment from other areas and probably shifts in how the game's played to resuscitate properly.

Alright, here's the link. Since this will be the eleventh iteration of this thread, I decided to rename it to Mafia Capital. Don't worry, I've left a reference to the original thread name by subtitling it WWC XI (Werewolf Central XI). Please refrain from making a post in the thread until I am able to reserve 10 or so posts.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I remember playing games here with over 60 people.
There were at least 4 wolf teams and such.
Mind you that was 2 jobs ago so....2008 or something?
Where are all the cool kids playing werewolf nowadays?

Well, I'm drumming up interest in Fallout 2 WW for the moment. Trying to see who's still around and interested.

Re: Werewolf Central X: Important WW information goes here - READ OPENING POSTS!
I see still WW being played a decent amount in my local gamestore. It's certainly not losing popularity, I just believe it isn't receiving a whole lot of attention on this particular forum for whatever reason. I am not quite sure what we could do about that though other than put out more games and hope for the best.
I have never played Fallout before, but I would be interested in playing.Last edited by Requilac; 2018-09-03 at 09:36 PM.
