Might as well start the nominations now that the theme week's thread has grown silent.

Theme Week will be May 31th to June 6th, giving two weeks to make avatars.

All agreed? Any reasons against these dates? Any alternative suggestions?

Also, I noticed a lot of "too busy to make new avatar, so used old one" in this past theme week. Thus, we need more time between announcing the winning week and the week starting. That's why I said two weeks. Also better advertising, maybe. How much are we paying the advertisers, anyway? We should double their paycheck.

Just popping back in to say that I've put some advertising for the thread in my signature. I hope it helps the thread gets some more posters. I was looking at some of the old theme weeks, and those were massive. Does anybody know why it's diminished so much today?

From what I recall from previously, I think one of the problems is that newer people who participated just didn't really feel like taking charge, so as avatar theme week veterans became busy or uninterested etc people just didn't feel like taking charge, making it diminish more and more.


Since voting ends in a day and a half from now, here's the current status of the votes:
