"You know me, I'm not built for stealth missions. Tail Azeron if you wish, but stay out of sight, in case this is some misunderstanding. We wouldn't want to intrude on a budding romance, after all. Frederick glanced down at his eidolon. "I'll unleash Pinto, so take him with you." The summoner smiled. "He could use some exercise after all that chicken and corn.

I'll be at the clearing to finish setting up tents."

"Sounds good to me. I can always say Pinto's taking me for a walk." Garren nodded and checked his gear as he waited for the townspeople to disperse.

Unfortunately for Azeron he would not find Shel wherever he assumed she would be, their arrangement was for a little later in the night afterall, when all was quiet. Saul and momma Lupescu were also not at their home should he have gone to check there.

The oil lanterns that lit the streets and outside of homes illuminated the small sleepy village. The festival grounds were completely cleaned and cleared up, well as far as anyone could tell, there were no lights illuminating the area.

Over by the Stones, the open air amphitheater glistened all prettyful under the light of the moon as Garren would see on his walk with Pinto, that and the scarecrow looking effigy that was there was no longer there.

    Azeron

Azeron will take some time to check the camp and wander around the village watching the stars and looking for anything odd.

After the festivities, the night air around the sleepy village was now almost totally silent. It wasn't an unwelcome change of pace though. Frederick took a stroll with Garren while Azeron did a little reconnaissance of his own. Pinto was busy frolicking in and out of bushes, then sniffing around the empty spot where the strange stick person was earlier in the day. Maybe party people broke it during the festivities?

Frederick was less interested in the missing effigy; he folded his arms and leaned against a withered old tree, yawning as he did. The gentle blanket of night, combined with all the good food and wine from the festival was having a minor sophomoric effect on the big man. "All seems quiet in Ravenmoor. Most folk are probably getting ready for bed by now. Perhaps we should follow suit and retire for the night soon. What do you think, Garren?"

Azeron would find himself with a leisurely stroll about the main street of the small village. It was on the quiet side with folks getting ready to call it a day. Parents corralled their children to get into the house before the Night Creepers snatch them away for not being in bed, as Azeron would overhear in one case. There wasn't necessarily anything too odd that stood out in his walk, but, Azeron would find himself feeling a chill down his spine like he was being watched by something, somewhere. Looking around he wouldn't see any particular being, well there were a few folks who glanced his way as they walked to their homes, but it wasn't that sort of ill-intention looking.

Ol Pinto and his investigative little metaphorical nose....As the 3 eyed cheery eidolen dog sniffed around the area where the scarecrow was at, he would eventually come across a couple of deep impressions in the soft slightly muddy ground and grass, but they disappeared just short of the river.

    Aha! Clues!

Pinto eagerly followed the footprints, gathering up a bit of mud onto his nose as he diligently investigated his own little mystery. Eventually he got to the edge of the water, where the prints seemed to disappear, and frowned in disappointment...and then sneezed out a bunch of wet dirt.

"Pinto, what are you doing boy?" His master called. Inquiring minds wanted to know.

"I am tracking the strange stick person, who disappeared very...strangely!" replied Pinto with an important tone. "But the feet marks stop at the water..."

"Maybe the stick man went for a swim." Frederick joked with a small laugh. "Come now you rascal, it's getting late."

Pinto gravely pondered on this new investigative direction; that was a possibility indeed, for stick people sometimes got thirsty too. He sighed, but before turning to leave, he gave the footprints one last look-over.

Some of the cats looked at Azeron funny, there was a chance that they could be evil. ;D Alas though, if there were any evil in the hearts of these simple village folk, it was not strong enough to be detected by the paladin's divine magic unfortunately. So alas, as Azeron continued with his stroll he would sense no evil auras here in town.

Alas for Garren nothing suspicious presented itself aside from an unnerving calmness, and song of the crickets and bubbling of the small river.

Alas for Pinto, the three dog and all his hyper senses, those indents in the ground that were not quite feet shaped, just looked to vanish into the river. Pinto would feel a chill in the air, one that ran down from his neck to his tail, that unexplainable sensation of something somewhere on a cold night like this...that maybe something was watching......

It was getting late and the moon shone brightly in the sky. While it was still a few days away from a full moon, the moon still held a deep richness in color, like a painting in the night sky.

Pinto quickly trotted back to his master and sat down, head bobbing around like a chicken as he looked around suspiciously for the invisible eyes.

"Alright mate, let's go find Azeron and see what he wants to do. Mayhaps it's time to call it a night." Frederick said to Garren.

Well, if Azeron were to head out to the Chenowitz place to meet Shel after enjoying the evening, he would find himself waiting an hour or two alone by the eerie dilapidated structure. It would seem she meant it about meeting up late at night.

A wicker-and-gourd scarecrow of a moth-winged woman leans against a rickety frame in the front yard of this derelict farmhouse. The house’s windows are boarded up, and its front porch is overgrown with thick curtains of ivy. Cornfields left to grow wild surround the building itself, and the constant hum of insects fills the air.

You determine that the scarecrow was built to resemble Desna, but the construct is hardly sacred to her religion.

After waiting, Azeron would see a figure walking down the dusty road, upon closer scrutinizing, it would seem that Shel has finally arrived.

"Oh dear, I hope ya hadn't been waitin much long,"
She frowned as she approached him.
