    Drask frowns, looking again at the slime on Luna, then checks to make sure none of the gunk had gotten on him before wiping his maul clean on the ground. Satisfied he was still clean he does a quick head count before moving to the front of the group and leading the way further down the tunnel as quietly as he could.

    Luna continues to move down the hall, she glances at the slime on her arm, I wonder if it will leave a scar. Guys dig scars, and this will be a good story. Not every day you skeletons eaten to the bone by slime. Yep definitely a good story.

    Luna snaps at Zander What the hell are you doing! We are in the middle of hostile ground fighting monsters and trying to be stealthy and you waste spells on cleaning! Do you know how loud you are you just gave away any stealth we had! This is what is wrong with you spell chuckers! You have tons of power you don't need! You abuse it on **** we don't need! And you never ask if it is something you should do! What if I don't want a spell casted on me! Did you think about that?

    She jabs her finger into Zander's chest. She blinks once and looked around at the party.

    I am sorry, I didn't mean that. Actually she did mean a good chunk of it, but to shout it like that. I didn't get much sleep last night. And I don't like how many undead abominations and slimes we are finding. It reeks of an abusive mage.

    "Err... right." Zander moved a bit further away from Luna. "We... might want to be careful with the slime. Blight, did it detect as poison? I get the feeling that it might cause people to be more aggressive, or some such effect. Wouldn't be the first time I heard of a trap like that."

    Round 1: Post Rounds
    You turn a corner in the tunnel to find a natural cavern that was crudely enlarged into a domed chamber that arches forty feet above the floor. Many stalactites are scatter about, dripping with ooze. There are slippery pools scattered around the floor. The floor has been roughly cut into a round theatre. Three concentric circles surround the central stage, digging down five feet for each circle, setting the stage at fifteen below the level you are at now. A stone stage stands in the middle of the chamber. The stone stage is covered in an ancient script, written in blood. Much of the writing has been washed by the dripping ooze from above. A massive stone bowl sits upon the stone stage. There are no markings on the bowl. Long rusty chains hang from the ceiling above the bowl, connected to a pulley high over head. In the bowl sits a giant ochre jelly.

    The jelly has total cover while in the bowl until you get within twenty feet, then it has three fourths cover. Moving 10 feet or more in the chamber in a round requires a Dec 12 Acrobatics check.

    Drasks face scrunches up seeing the floor and the dripping slime. He was just glad they'd found that barrel of wine, cause he was probably going to have to burn all his clothes and armor after this. Laying a hand on Luna's shoulder, he points to the thing in the middle and nods to his right before pointing Luna to the left. Then stepping carefully into the room while gripping his maul before him, his gaze follows the chains on their way up to the ceiling as he starts to circle his way to the right.

    Blightmist didn't like the look of this at all. But the enemy was stuck in place, and couldn't attack through the bowl. ...right? Deciding it might be best to be careful, Blightmist moved forward.

    Drask, there are hooks attached to the chains where they may have lowered things into the bowl. The chains are long enough that if you reached them, you could pull them down to attach something or someone, and then pull them up above the bowl, but you would need a pole of some sort to grab the chains.

    Blightmist, need a dex roll for acrobatics.

    Luna and Drask, you slip and fall and are knocked prone. Luna, which square did you move to?

    Drask groans as he hits the ground, laying there for a moment he lifts a hand now slick with slime. "Unngh. Slippery...," he calls back towards the entrance as he climbs to his feet again. Well it know's we're here.

    Looking around at the floor slopping down towards the bowl and then tot he slime covered floor, he quickly makes a decision and take two quick steps towards the lip before dropping to his knees and sliding down the steps. Holding his maul ready he jabs at the Jelly with one end, hoping to hurt the thing and also stop himself from skidding right on top of it.

    Drask climbs back to his feet having made it to the Jelly-Creature and eyes the beast mostly protected in it's bowl. "Are you ok Luna?" he asks over his shoulder, stepping to the side and calling on Protrist to infuse his weapon with power. The head of the maul starts to hum as the spell takes hold and Drask doesn't waste anymore time as he takes a few swipes at the Jelly, hoping that the spell would do the trick and knock the thing out of it's bowl so the others would have an unobstructed view.

    Luna grits through her teeth I am fine. She could feel her rage building, but had to inch closer.

    She controls herself for a few moments more, finally reaching striking distance before stabbing the jelly violently two times. (See OOC.)

    This slime was significantly more powerful than Blightmist had given it credit for. Not wanting to close into melee and risk slipping, the cleric instead shot off a gout of sacred flame.

    You can't read the writing, but you recognize many different symbols for your studies. It appears that at some point in the past this chamber was used for summoning slimes and attempting to turn them into demons. You haven't heard of a cult doing this since the cataclysm.
