My tribe told me, my duty was to meet nature half way. Our crops would grow, but only with care. We would find game, but only if we offered thanks to the spirit of the animal and worked hard to find it.
She turned to Blight But I do see your point. A child who asks for more while wasting what has is likely to be spanked and go with out.

Just as Drask is lucky enough to find the treasure of wine, Zander is unlucky enough to check one barrel that has been invaded by a slime, which has turned a dark red color, must have been a merlot barrel, and it attacks.

Zander yells in Gnomish and stumbles back, then regains his footing and dodges away while grumbling something about "inefficient arcane power usage" and "damned slimes".

"Can you look after that?" he asks of Blightmist, indicating the barrel, before picking up his maul and rushing past the fleeing Zandar towards the latest slime.

How had his spell not detected the presence of this creature? The wine barrels must be thicker than he thought. Luna was right. He relied on his magic too much at times. He wanted to rely on Vivicous's blessings, but that was no reason to slack off and get careless.
Marching towards the slime Blightmist pulls out his mace and swings.

The room is silent after the death of the slime. There is a door way leading both to the right and the left. On the north wall is set a sealed medal gate (DC 15 Str to open).

When in doubt, pry open the most secure looking door. After taking a quick break to renew his spell Blightmist began to pull at the door attempting to force it open.

Opening the door release ten odd looking, slime covered zombies in a long, dug out tunnel. The zombies spring to life, charging Blightmist, but he is quick to dodge out of the way of their claws.

If these had been normal zombies he may have hesitated before using magic to defeat them. As it was, they were diseased and a risk to the party. He could not allow them even a single strike against his allies. Raising his shield, Blightmist let loose with a burst of holy light.

Zander looks exasperated at the zombie who decides to charge into his daggers. "At least you can leave that one alone - the daggers should handle it." With that, he steps back and fires a few Magic Missiles at a zombie further back.

<Maybe not so soon after all...> Drask sends to his warhorse keeping watch above as he follows through with his first swing, taking advantage of the opening left by the zombie as it turned to flee. But just as soon as that one leaves another quickly takes it's place, stepping straight into Zandar's whirling blades. Confident the magical blades would destroy the filthy undead in no time, Drask instead turns his attention to a different zombie.

This was bad. These undead were powerful enough his turning didn't destroy them outright. Were they outmatched? Well so far they weren't dealing any significant damage... still. With the large number in the area and they're relative power it would be best to spend a little magic to make the fight easier than risk one of their deaths fighting with nothing but his mace.

Blightmist hissed in pain. What was with horrible undead with debilitating diseases getting through his armor? He needed to get a better shield. Knowing his enemy was almost down, and that his allies could deal with it, Blightmist removed himself from melee before rushing after the fleeing zombies. His spell wouldn't last long, but while it was up he needed to kill as many undead with it as possible.

Zander attempts to finish off the zombie with acid before jogging down the tunnel.

With the zombies in front of them dead-dead, Drask looks Luna up and down and gives her an empathetic grimace. "Better go save those other two before they run into another blob of slime," he says before jogging after Blightmist and Zandar.

The last zombie in front of you quickly falls. You catch up to the three turned zombies up ahead in a narrow passage. They are single file, still trying to get away from the turning effect.

"Time for release," Drask says softly as he slows his jog and walks forward. Prefering to keep his distance while he they were fleeing from Blightmist he stops a small distance from them. Then stretching his jaws wide his throat lights up with blue light and he lets loose a jet of lightning at the zombies.

His spell was still active, so all he needed to do was stand close enough to the undead for it to trigger. As such Blightmist waited for his companion to shoot his breath before rushing any remaining undead.
