I don't really have a good guess but as much as i like the funny pun titles I think this book title will be more serious like blood runs in the family, as there seems to be a trend in seriousness and lack of puns and gaming references in the book titles. I could be wrong and book 6 is a breather book for book 7 but i doubt it.

Its could be taken as a joke but compared to the others its a more serious tone it doesn't mention D&D at all, like every one but SOD (dont split the party i think counts as D&D.)
And it just seems more focused on the major story events than puns. Im not saying its not going to be funny i think but we need more context to get it.
Also it seemed to take longer for the name to make sense as we go. dungeon crawling fools pretty obvious from the start book 2 is iffy as we knew there was a cloaked figure but she took a while to show, but book 3 and 4 we knew it would involve a war and a party split from the start. Book 5 not so much. book 6?we will see.

Let's dissect this frog!*

"X runs in the family" is a fairly common English phrase: "good looks run in the family", "madness runs in the family", etc. So we have a book with X replaced by "blood": the implication is that "blood" is a quality that all of the family** possesses, and is unusual enough to be notable. But of course every family has blood in it, it's even how we refer to family metaphorically ("blood is thicker than water", etc), so saying that "blood runs in the family" is redundant and bathetic. It's basically the same source of humour as The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul. It's not a pun, no, but it's clearly not the title of a serious book either.

*I am not promoting the dissection of frogs, ick. "Humor can be dissected, as a frog can, but the thing dies in the process and the innards are discouraging to any but the pure scientific mind." - EBWhite.

**Incidentally, despite the fact that family (Starshine, Tarquin, Draketooth, Malack, arguably Tsusiko) is a key theme of the book, I always read "the family" in the title as the house of Tarquin specifically. Not sure why.
