Hello fellow GITP fans! I have been a happy reader of Mr. Burlew's, "Order of the Stick", for quite some time. It is my favorite online comic. Thank you Mr. Burlew! You have enriched my life with your comic brilliance.

Hi to everyone! I've been a long time lurker, and strip #1000 finally pushed me to make an account so I could post a long string of predictions. Look forward to posting in the future!

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hello! I'm new to posting here. I've used this forum as a reference and idea generator and question-answerer... Decided it was time to actually sign up.
I'm playing 5e with my husband, our married couple friends, and their 8-year old son (works better than you'd think). I'm first time DM-ing a campaign I'm writing from level 1-20, and thanks to the 5e DM manual it's actually going pretty well.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Greetings forums, I, Lord Gehnvaar salutes you.
Ok, now to the serious part, I've been reading the comics for some time now and lurking the forums for tips on aome D&D adventures ans finally after a few years (please don't judge me XD) I've finally decided to create an account.
So that's basically it, I hope I can find and/or give some useful advices/tips.
Oh, and I apologise in advance for any spelling/grammar mistake.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
New to both Giant in the Playground and tabletop RPGs in general.
I've been intensely interested in fantasy roleplaying my entire life, but somehow couldn't find myself a group to play with until I was 26 - better late than never, I guess. My first TTRPG was D&D 5e, which I've been playing weekly for the past few months. First character, a half-orc monk named Lock. After that first real session, my interested skyrocketed - I bought the starter kit, all three manuals, and started lurking forums like this and r/DnD with renewed purpose. I can honestly say that I've spent more time thinking and reading about roleplaying than actually doing it - I'm about to DM my first campaign in a week or two and it's where my mind goes as soon as it starts to wander.
Hope to pick up a lot of insight, and maybe get back into PbP, something I haven't done since I was a kid. Look forward to meeting everyone!

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Okay, I'm normally pretty bad at introductions, but here goes nothing:
Hello. I'm SZbNAhL (I'm really sorry about the horrible capitalisation, that's what I get for choosing an acronym and not thinking things through - feel free to refer to me by any similar collection of letters). I've been lurking around these forums (fora?) for about three years, passively observing the discussions from the shadows, waiting for an opportune moment tostrikecreate an account. THAT TIME IS AT HAND.
I'll see you in the threads, I guess.

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hey all,
I've been reading OoTS for a while and have come plenty of times to the site for advice on various builds, and I finally decided to join. I'm going to be looking to play a pbp soon and also have a bit of homebrew material that I would like to get feedback on.

Hello everyone.
I'm a long time reader of the OOTS and first time poster.
And today I have decided to start to annoy you all with my unsolicited and unrequired opinions. :)
Pardon me if sometimes I talk a bit like Durkon, but my first language clearly is not english. :)

Re: Hello, and Welcome New Members, Thread 12
Hello everyone! I'm Mjr Lee Fat, but my real name is Chris. I'm a fifth-year college student that is double-majoring in General Business Management and Theatre Performance, so I clearly have no idea what I'm going to do with my life.
I'm here because I've been using the awesome information and ideas that people have been throwing out for years on these forums (fora?), and I thought it might be time for me to try to help others. I've been playing D&D since I was eight years old (I've done 3e, 3.5, and 5e, but I skipped over 4e) and I dabbled for a while in d20 Modern. I love playing clerics and I love learning about cleric builds, especially ones that focus on crafting. I'm also here to help get some ideas for my family's 3.5 Forgotten Realms campaign. I'm looking forward to having fun with everyone here! Sorry for the long introduction!
