Hi. I'm new here. Still not sure how to get an avatar picture. In any case, I have to accrue 10 posts pretty quickly so that I can link to my character sheet for a play by post game I'm trying to join, so I figured I'd post here. I've been roleplaying since middle-school with varying degrees of success. PbP is something I lake to do regularly but you'll only find me on french forums. Until now.

Greetings all! New member here, thanks for all the advice!

I played in the early '80s, instead of listening to the geometry teacher and loved every minute of it. Still have all my original books, and have been dragging them around the world (military life) for decades, adding 3.5 books to the collection. Wife and I and kids played for about a year (2004-05) and then nothing after that.

Until a few weeks ago when a co-worker mentioned D&D. I told him how my wife still wants to play and I still have the books and now, before I knew what was happening, we have our first game sked for next weekend.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed playing, esp. character development.

Just looking around. Use to play D&D a lot years ago but I moved to a area where I didn't know anyone and stopped playing. Played some of the online games like Neverwinter's Nights but they were pretty clunky and the micro purchases were annoying.

I found this forum not too long ago and,, well,, I've never really been a part of a forum community so I figured that this would be a good place to try it out!
Over the last couple years I've been able to play some DnD 5e, but at the time the DM was kinda lackluster in their approach to everything. Recently, with the comeuppance of more fun and lackadaisical DnD styled media, it got some of my friends who are really familiar with RP groups interested in playing and DMing and honestly I've never had this much fun playing a table top game! I wanted to see what other people are doing for homebrew stories and character vuilds, especially when there's people out there who've been playing DnD for longer than I've probably been alive! I'm just!! Kind of really excited to meet people and see what kind of creativity is pumping throughout this community!

Hi, all. Long time lurker who's finally decided to take part in this awesome community. Hope everyone's having a great day. I'm a 43 year old male from Rhode Island, USA who has lived in Bertram, Texas since 2011. I've been a furry for well over a decade now and have been interested in the fandom for about twice that length of time. I've called myself a brony since December of 2010, love to write both fanfic and poetry and have over 300 poems published via my Furaffinity page. My main 'fursona' is a grey kangaroo named Zidders and my main pony oc is a Pegasus mare named Lavender Raindrops.

The main things I enjoy are helping people be kinder to themselves and one another, creating art when I'm able to find the motivation and playing guitar. I've been playing since 1986 though IMO I'm a better writer than I am an artist or guitarist. I know just enough about the latter two to have fun. Finally I'm a huge fan tabletop rpg's (especially Ponyfinder) and of Rainbow Dash. <3
