It's starting to feel that Pandora is a Neutral character because her unstable personality at this time tempered by her usual benevolent self means that she has a large quantity of small nice deeds, a bunch of Neutral deeds, and a few exquisitely crafted Evil ones. Her current reasoning is fair and benign, and in a setting where Magic doesn't deliberately screw with it's practitioners (as opposed to crash with large demand and limited supply), she would succeed.

Um...The only "evil" thing she's done, apparently, is to try to make Magus make Edward kill Abraham because Abraham hurt Adrian. Even that's less "evil" and more "pissed off and insane."

The thing with Dex turned out to be Voltaire.

I have to say I'm fascinated by the fact so many people mix up Sirleck's host and Arthur, especially when the latter's design was altered specifically to prevent confusion. So here is my guide for telling the two apart:

Nose: Sirleck's host's is long, Arthur's is short
Eyes: Sirleck's host's are almond-shaped, Arthur's are round
Hair: Sirleck's host's is white and long, Arthur's is gray and short
Ears: Sirleck's host's have tufts or hairs in them, Arthur's don't
Eyebrows: Sirleck's host's are wider on the sides than on the middle of his face, and they are bushy and have "tufts", Arthur's are thinner on the edges than in the middle and are neat.

And as per the recent update, posture: Sirleck's host is crouched forward and needs a cane to walk, Arthur is as rigid as can be and has no cane.

Also, I'm not sure we've ever seen Sirleck's host not frowning. Arthur has more neutral expressions.

Hope this helps whoever has trouble telling them apart!

The thing is that, yes, Elliot initial reaction is rather....I'm lacking the correct word here so I suppose "not okay" will have to do. Though it was more a case of him just assuming that it was something Tedd himself would dislike and wondered why he would do it to himself rather than any bigotry towards trans people.

In the page after the linked page he seems to be okay with Tedd enjoying being female and only objects because he had stuff to do and Tedd was taking up his time by posing in the mirror.

There's being surprised, and then there's invoking the name of all that's decent and good.

It was an awfully bigoted thing to express, and the fact that for a good number of people it's a knee-jerk reaction is the point Grace is trying to make, I think. "Everyone's reacting the way that you did, at least initially."

Also it probably hasn't been more than two years since that. I'm sure I'll remember what I was trying to say by stating that fact, or if I can't, someone will articulate it better than I would

I think that's the idea. It seems rather artificial to me, though.

I haven't read the author's comments for the last couple of updates (that's why I had no answer for your previous question), but based on some of his earlier comments, I think Dan feels bad for the way he had Elliot act originally. I think this is really Dan trying to make up for that by having Elliot make up for what he said.

Part apology, part demonstration of his change of heart.

They are not quite the same thing: an apology admits that you regret condemning the action, but doesn't imply you are on board with it. For example, a former homophobe may apologise for their actions against gay people, without actually being cool with kissing members of their own sex. Elliot has gone the full length: from thinking that wanting to turn into a woman being abnormal, to demonstrating he now is willing to do so.

Put another way, an apology is, at the end of the day, only words. Elliot is going a step further, and via his action showing Tedd he no longer holds the opinions he once did and that so impacted Tedd.

Meh. Jerry had implied that immortals like to take on the names of ancient gods but, unless you count Pandora (which I don't) it hasn't been demonstrated so far. This may be when we finally get to see what an immortal that sincerely enjoys playing god looks like.

Also, note the "Make changes while no one is looking..." happened. We weren't looking there during the middle panels, which is when the change occurred.

In my case, I didn't spot Wednesday's change, but I did see today's change easily. I had recently seen the comments about Wednesday's change. That probably made me alert for a change.

What I took away from this is that Tedd--a Sear descended from a long line of Wizards, and Susan and Diane, sisters with an affinity for magic weapons, have a common Ancestor. Depending on how far back the Originator of the "special magic users" is, I kind of hope something gets done with that.

Also... It's someone that the audience would recognize and that Box finds shocking... So it's either someone reasonably well known IRL or someone that's been mentioned in canon... anybody have theories?

He didn't actually say who or what they are descended from, it could be a class or race of people, or even fairies (are people like Raven sterile? I kind of thought they were, but maybe not).

If Raven and his like are sterile, it could be that magic users are the decendants of people who were given marks and then broke through and got spell books. Which would mean Box has been creating a lot of new bloodlines without knowing, which is well and truly worth a "WHAT!".
