Ansom's got Charlie's Angel's on his side now! .. He's unstoppable ... and that is probably the"Charlie" he was trying to get a hold of a few strips back. Very nice reference!

Though they are literately angels ... heh

And it seems both sides have 2nd in commands that have more sense then the leaders!

Heh. What's really funny is I was just barely looking at OOTS 239 (the one where female Roy, V, and Haley do a Charlie's Angels pose) and then the first thing I noticed in this comic was the Charlie's Angels pose in the first panel.

Guess now we know who Charlie REALLY is. (Especially since we see that there are more than one of those "chocolate" pegasus/unicorn/centaurs).

And I really liked the end of this one. Seems to me like Vinnie gets cooler every time he shows up!

I really like Vinny too. He seems really level-headed and intelligent, more so than Ansom or Stanley, at times.

The other coordinates I recall seeing (-1214, +455, the site of Jillian's attack of opportunity on the twoll and three skellys) are relatively close to those coordinates.

This one raises a few questions:

What price did Ansom meet to get this assistance? (Just a honking big pile of schmuckers, or something more?)

Just how powerful are "Charlie's Angels"?

Will Ansom take Vinnie's advice? (Is it just me, or do Ansom and Vinnie both look more relaxed than they did during their last conversation, except Vinnie in the very last frame?).

Man, I love Vinny. Especially in the sixth and final frame. I love the way he's looking down--all cocky--in the sixth, and in the last the expression of foreboding is very...foreboding.

Charlie's Angels references aside...

Archons are flying units, it seems. Which means they CAN attack Dwagons, even over rough terrain. I don't know how an Archon compares to a Dwagon in power, but in D&D, any three Archons could WHOMP any five dragons any day... even without resorting to CoDzilla cheeze (which they could, since they're high-end clerics).

Vinny is clearly smarter than Ansom, too bad for them that he isn't the one in charge.

It looks as if a big fight is going to break out soon between the major players in this game. Jetstone, Vinny, and the Archons against Lord Tool, Wanda, and Dwagons. I don't think that Hamster and Zamussels are going to fight; Hamster is to valuable to risk in combat, and Zamussels cant be commanded to attack her friends but she can be commanded not to fight.

I think the important thing to remember is, we still can't rule out some other theories on Charlie himself. We've only seen his archons, we don't know who he is. But perhaps I'm overanalyzing...

Note that, judging from Ansom's expression and the chortle at the beginning of Vinny's reply, Ansom is bantering, not expressing irritation or rejecting Vinny's counsel.

Combined with the thoughtful look on his face when he read (what I presume from context to be) the hat-o-gram reporting that Webinar's group had found Jillian, I'm starting to think that Ansom isn't going to obligingly walk into the trap -- if he goes, it'll be with a few tricks up his sleeve (in addition to "Charlie's Angels"), and a plan to break the trap apart after it tries to close on him.

Edit: Hmmmm a somewhat speculative implication of Ansom's answer occurs to me....

You have to go pretty high up the archon chain to reach a point where a single archon can take on a good sized/aged dragon.
