"Only just now? From what I've heard, things on your world are ah... chaotic, in the 'other' sense." The way he sees it, a world where killing is the accepted answer to problems is bound to be chaotic somehow.

"Well, I know mine's in the realm of the 2000s, but I don't really remember the exact date..." Caesar shrugs and smiles. "And, I meant in the sense of... well, it's obvious we remember differently. I can see it in your faces. But it's similar enough that you can readily accept me. I'm glad for that." He kisses her again.

'Quite the opposite, actually. But its nature is fairly complicated. Let's just say that in many situations, killing isn't just the accepted answer. It's the only answer to problems that are specifically engineered such that killing is the only answer.'

KC pauses briefly.

'I made it sound awful, didn't I? But the world's split into two groups - people who kill, and people who are killed. If you can call them people, they aren't sentient.'

Yes, it's sentient and not sapient. Animals, while not sapient, are sentient as they can feel, think subjectively, and suffer. The latter aren't even sentient.

'I used to be in the latter group, until the Nexus attacked and I started shifting towards the former. I haven't been sentient for anything more than 3 years. I think you're still much older than that?'

"Yes, you did." Caesar purses his lips as he waits for her to finish explaining.

"So you're saying you had no control of your actions until three years ago? How's that possible? Sounds like a videogame of some sort..." He begins to slow down his speech as the videogame realization hits him. "That explains things. You've been a player for three years, but before that you were only... ah, I see." He nods.

He turns to Axxie and keeps nodding. "That certainly explains a few things." Like Axxie's eccentricities and the inhabitants of Masq Island. He'd thought of Masq Island as a real place.

"So, how many points do I get if I decide to use the inhabitants of your island to blow off some steam?" He asks, cracking his knuckles. Unwise as it may be for his control and humanity, they're just robots anyway, right?

In return, Axxie licks Deadra's lick! She's funny like that.

A while later, Deadra should feel something biting her on the butt.

Having one's tongue licked is an interesting sensation to be sure, but then...

Yipe!

Deadra looks down, expecting to see a curious Peyton.

Indeed, Deadra spots a happy little Peyton, grinning mischievously.

'Wanna do curtainy thing? I'll keep Peyton away,' Axxie winks at Deadra.

'While you ladies have fun, I could take Caesar to my home. Sounds good?' KC asks.

Caesar smiles to himself. "I suppose that's a yes. Infinite blood supply, ahoy! There are elves and vampires there, right? Human blood offers no sustenance, as I've said." He puts a hand around KC's waist as he speaks.

[Felandria]

Indeed, Deadra spots a happy little Peyton, grinning mischievously.

'Wanna do curtainy thing? I'll keep Peyton away,' Axxie winks at Deadra.

'While you ladies have fun, I could take Caesar to my home. Sounds good?' KC asks.

Deadra smirks.

I thought you'd never ask.

And Deadra carries Axxie off to behind some curtains!

Axxie may be smaller than Deadra, but she's definitely not holding back at all

KC rubs her head against Caesar's, smiling. 'Well then, let's head off. Gate, she announces, and a nice tall wrought iron gate appears in front of her. Opening the gate, she gestures for her boyfriend and says 'Come on it' before stepping though it herself.

Caesar follows KC into the gate and into Riverside Masq Island.
