It rushes forward, using rudimentary flaps of skin to propel itself through the air in short leaps. "Power I, I, give power I, I power--" it babbles, before a Craast Brute plucks it easily out of the air and slams it to the ground with crushing force.

    <"Unchanged. One of the Brood-leavers, no doubt,"> the Maker spits, every syllable coated with contempt and revulsion. <"Kill it."> The Brute holding down the squirming, shrieking Unchanged Craast raises its other arm, claws poised to demolish the smaller Craast's skull.

    Lieutenant Angel followed behind the dryad like creature, dutiful as if she were responding to a superior officer. "Not much to tell, Ma'am. We are human, much the same as the crew of this ship. We place value in Courage, Heroism, Purity in both mind and body. We honor Tradition, Laws, Family and Loyalty. We follow the God-King of Man, Ulvin Silverblade and his Queen, Robin Silverblade."

    She paused for a moment before continuing. "To truly understand Eldarond, Ma'am. One would have to walk it's lands, bask in it's Churches and roll upon it's warm summer grass. To a person from Eldarond, our Kingdom is the Light which guides us through life."

    Welcoming the Dead - Wedding Reception/Aftermath

    Ulvin stepped forward, he paused for a moment as he gauged the new arrivals. "The goblins of Krenko-Ka possess a weapon of great destruction. They have fired it upon Eldarond and Stoixia. As we speak, a fleet of Eldarond ships, Voidgrel and Orphaned Kings move against the threat."

    Valask in the void, over looking Parnetia

    It beckoned to him, from far across the cold void, hidden in the bustling land resting upon Zalsaram, surrounded by barbaric forces of Krix, lost deep in the dying ruins of Parnetia.
    The guise of revenge called out to him, calling to an owner who would wear it rightfully and proudly.
    One who understood it's meaning and it's curse.

    Valask heard its call, a quiet whimper, a distant plea.
    'Come find me'
    Those fighting before him barely noticed his presence, he wouldn't be missed.
    He quickly vanishes, reappearing at the boundaries of the void and playground. He snarls an angry growl, from behind his mask it's the only sign of his hatred for the barrier before him.

    He presses his hand upon it. He can feel the dormant item call out to him.
    He presses harder, it calls stronger.
    Pain radiates through his entire being. The sky's above Parnetia darkens from his presence.

    ...for a split moment he feels it, the air inside the bubble, the slightest slither of purity touching against the smallest barest figment of his skin.

    "Zap!"

    The god of hatred is blasted back from the barrier by an electrifying force, aching immensely, his lesson was quickly learnt.
    He looks to his still tingling finger, a pin prick of blood sits on its tip.

    A single drop had slid through the barrier, as it fell to the land of mortals it dispersed amongst the dark clouds that had drawn to his presence. Soon, it was raining hatred over the ruins.

    The Huglings and Assassins that had refused to leave will find themselves washed in the diluted blood of the god of vengeance and hatred.
    Those of weak will and dedication will find their old values in question.

    For one assassin, having just completed his task, this signals his next destination. Forgetting the goblins and leaving them to their own fate he steps into the shadows and starts his journey.

    The Kixian Horde - Parnetia
    Suddenly some of the Kix left behind found their roots cut in the twilight brought on by Xirmr'z as assassins found new purpose. Rumors began to spread of ghosts haunting the ruins and with one final sweep they looted the land. Deep within the former capitol, already being overtaken by the forest, they found a suit that radiated with magic. Five bosses took the items and scattered with them to the four corners of the Kixian empire. The fifth, rumored to be Tizn'm or possibly a descendent, returned with a mysterious bolt to their home of Purity.
    The four bosses of course didn't make it. Either through finally meeting their match in battle or just poor luck the artifacts were lost across what could only be assumed was Northern Demiourgia, all but what was once known as the Bolt of Virtue. What the Kix started to call Zy'k was soon incorporated into the shaman's staff even as they examined it and delved into its magic. Progress was slow, however, while most of the Kix was busy spreading like a plague throughout their island.

    Shivian Plains
    The Mardu Industrial Complex was busy producing expected replacements. The cost of industry was, unfortunately, pollution. In this case it was a thick cloud of smog that soon began to surround Krenko-Ka island and the Shivian Plains. Soon they were sending tunnelers designed more to travel through the sea instead of the ground, complete with launch bays for nuclear tipped missiles, to Krenko-Ka for the coming battle.

    Krenko-Ka City
    The busy goblins began to notice something strange. They had known of the Madhouse for generations and even that they would occasionally have some bleed through to their fine city. Now, though, the manifest zones became almost a daily occurrence as the goblins were able to use the chaotic nature to create more insane defenses against the coming storm.

    The Playground
    Despite being calmed by the Goddess of Music and Fey, Zalsaram still shuttered. Tectonics were already in motion and wouldn't be stopped by some simple desire. Mountains formed as Nourthern Demiourgia crashed into the islands surrounding it, forming a ring as a larger mass was formed from the various masses. It was slower than before, plenty of warning given to those who paid attention to such things.
    At the same time, the preparations for another large battle caught the attention of Hlo. That Which Lights the Way was disturbed by the recent violence. Neutrality needed to be maintained but then balance wouldn't be. Instead It decided the best course of action would be the oldest law of all: an eye for an eye. It would see that only the damage done by the goblins was done by the forces gathered against them. With It's decree made it gathered up additional strength and looked toward the void in thought.

    It was such a simple thing, to sever the lines; but that would not be enough. No, it would be more insidious than that. They flowed with power, and they still would. It would just be… different power. Those who utilized the lines would not notice any difference at first, nor would the creature who they served, but if that path came into being… Memories, ever so slightly altered. Desires, feelings, even motivations would be changed. Who knows what new things might arise? Then, off with it; creation flowed through the ley lines.

The avatar spoke with a forceful certainty. The primarily deathless (a small number of glowing, and sometimes flying, skeletons dotted the army alongside them) forces who followed the Swordsman looked upon both him and Ulvin in awe and admiration.

    The Grack would have smiled at the weakling's display if it had muscles instead of a shell. "Leave the skull intact." The rumbling voice paused for just a moment, and asked a new question "How many varieties of your kind are there?"

    The Cosmic Mother, the Void

    The goddess of Dragons looks upon the Playground. The Shards of Zalsaram were causing havoc upon the realm that she had sworn to protect. Her eyes darts towards the testament to her struggle against the one who had harmed her Child, the land of Demiourgia. It had been shattered almost beyond recognition. Normally, she would not have cared. It was just land, but now the Cosmic Mother was angry... no she was furious. Irresponsible godlings wished the destruction of the Playground by bringing back Zalsaram. She would let them know that she would oppose them.

    Of course, she knew well that if she unleashed her full rage, then she too would become a danger to the Playground. Instead of unleashing the full potential of her power, instead the Cosmic Mother snorts.

    As she does Zalsaram's corpse shudders under the sheer power of the goddess of Creation. Demiourgia once again becomes whole, as it was when the Cosmic Mother had tried to pluck the Original Creator from Zalsaram's back. She then focuses on Mytea, the city where her sacred flame is kept safe. As the Dragonborn Kings bring out the Cosmic Lantern, her divine flame erupts clearing Demiourgia from the lethargic pollen. Having done so, it allows for the Northern League, one of the most powerful Mortal Alliances upon the Playground to muster their forces, as Dragonborn, Kobold, Dwarfs and Elves prepare to retaliate against the Kix.

    But the Cosmic Mother was not done. She would pour out her rage upon those who would dare lift a hand against her children. All it takes, is her glare, as the Kix realize that they can no longer tolerate the intensity of her stare.

    Of course, while the Kix where busy rampaging across Dermiourgia, there was an older race who had done much the same aeons ago. Yet few races ever recall the legendary charge which that occurred during the Battle of Purity. Yet the Orcs of Demiourgia where a shattered race. If lucky, some would get the chance to go to the more civilized lands and work as mercenaries. Some even managed to reproduce, creating the half-breeds known as the Half-Orcs.

    The Half-Orcs don't have a nation like the other races, instead are often are on poor terms with some of the other races who think of them as just big dumb brutes. Of course it doesn't mean that a Half-Orc cannot befriend a Dwarf or an Elf, for there are many who show honor and dignity, while at the same time they are frequently rejected by civilized societ and are drawn to violent careers suitable to their temperament and physical strength, becoming mercenaries or adventurers.

    Yet for the Orcish clans of Dermiourgia, they often dream of the old days of glory, when the Orcs rose up against their cruel Draconic masters. But, those days are gone, and the Orcs knew that wish as they could, the days of the Boulderbuttz Rebellion and the glorious yet suicidal Charge of the Boulderbuttz would belong in the past. The Boulderbuttz were no more.

    Then one day, a weird Orc walks into one of the camps. This Orc was big. Bigger than the Big Poo, this Orc was weird. While he wore little armor, he was wearing a helmet with dragon horns, while his cape seemed to have once been the scales of a Red Dragon. But the most striking was this Orc's hammer. Crudely crafted, this obsidian hammer was filled with Orcish runes which hurts to look at.

    The weird Orc goes to challenge the Clan's Big Poo, and as he does, the Orcs gather to see the bashing that will ensue. As the challenges and insults are thrown, the Orcs begin to laugh as the weird Orc claims that he is a Boulderbuttz. Naturally this was absurd. Everyone knew that the Boulderbuttz were wiped out when their Charge was finally checked by Ignus and the Genasi of the Burning Lands, and that was aeons ago.

    The laughter is cut short however, when the Big Poo's head is bashed in by the weird Orc who begins to yell in triumph.

    "Yuz iz all listenin' to mah words! I am Burkek! Son of mah Fadda! And I am Da Grand Poo-Bah of da Orcs! Yuz iz all gunna listen to me, cuz I'm da Grand Poo-Bah and I sez so!"


    Nobody knows how Burkek survived following the end of the Battle of Purity. Or how he lived through all those aeons. Perhaps some divine blood seeped into him from all that carnage... perhaps he was locked in stasis... or he made a pact with a dark god. Most Orcs believe that Burkek just forgot to die.

    "Alright boyz! I iz hearin' dat dere are sum udders who is finkin' dat dey iz better at bashin' than we iz. Well yuz iz all gunna follow me now... and we iz gunna show them how to do a real Waaaagh! All good and propah!"


    The usual Orcish tactic ensues, as Burkek begins to visit the Orcish clans one by one, defeating their Big Poos and swelling their numbers. The Orcs had aeons to rampage, and unlike the Battle of Purity, this time the Orcs also had aeons of pent up frustration.

    AP16=18-3: Create Pestilence Artifact: Mah Hamma! Nobody knows where Burkek got Mah Hamma! from or who made it. The Grand Poo-Bah never talks about it. However those who wield Mah Hamma! Find themselves empowered physically, while able to slip in and out of a Berserk trance upon will. However Mah Hamma! Craves blood and carnage, and will constantly whisper it to its wielder. If left unsatisfied for too long, then Mah Hamma! will lash out at what ever is closest to its wielder, often creating tragedies.

    Kryokoli

    Having returned to the Crystalline Palace after her meeting with Tiamat and revealing her 'father's' secret, she could now join his little cult, especially considering that she would have not broken any of the rules while a member of it of course. The goddess of Winter figures that the best way to damage this cult is from the inside.

    AP5= 6-1: Join Cult of the Beast. Dogma: If we must accept Zalsaram we must accept his hatred for all. Including our own. None are safe from his hatred.


    Watching the Undeads form their own society within the boarders of her land, Kryokoli assumes that she had better fill the Iceshelf Tundra with her own people, just to keep the Undead in check. Perhaps they had formed an alliance, but Kryokoli would not be so foolish as to trust them completely.

    Thus it was that the goddess of Winter created the Ice Genasi, to remind her of her days amongst her people in the Burning Lands, and then the Frost Elfs. While the Genasi built their cities across the Iceshelf Tundra, the Ice Elfs are a nomadic race, following the migration of prey which they feed upon, the Frost Elfs are crude, unemotional, and generally unpleasant to anyone other than a Frost Elf. Just like their goddess, they despise the warmth of other races. Cozying up around a fire with others to tell stories sickens them.

    "I see" said the figure softly. The sound of its voice seemed to emanate not from the figure in front of her, but from all around. "I am not sure that my family can help you in your quest. The principles of law are far from their hearts, save the law of the Forest, that only those with the strength to survive and grow will do so. Savage law to your people, I am sure, but that is their way. Still, they understand family, the care for those who are like to them. Tell me, child of Eldarond, how you are family to the Forest, and you will have an army more savage and cunning than any on the Playground."

    Ignus appears next to them. "I shall be doing likewise." She smiles kindly, with a hint of the predator in her eyes. "The Burning Legion is prepared. The Flame shall reign."

    The Dark Grove

    Fr'ka unfurled her wings in the large space where she crouched at rest. She could not sleep. The space was too empty, for her brood mate K'sha should be there. She had brought the news of her disappearance to the Raven Mother, who oversaw all the broods, but the Raven Mother had told her to get some rest, a new night might bring her back to them. She had joined L'shan, their other sister in fretful sleep before, but now even that was denied her. Fr'ka began to flap her wings, catching the still air and building it into a vortex. She rose, unsteadily at first, and then flew from the harpies’ roost. She closed her eyes, remembering her brood-mate’s smell and soared into the late afternoon light.

    The Ravenwood

    "O da de, O da da, life goes on,” Reshy sung to himself, then burst into a fit of giggles. He wondered how he had survived so long without being exposed to the treachery of his race, but now he knew better. Somewhere inside the chaotic jumble of his mind a thought appeared that Skarz had just been acting as many of his kind did when enraged and not meant to harm him so severely. “Shoo, shoo,” Reshy said to himself, and shooed the thought away.

    He had spent a day and night in the dark, listening to the whispers of the maddening, mocking visage that spoke to him of a need for vengeance so great it had brought him from the edge of death, back to life, to carve more scars into the face of his former friend, who had so callously left him to the wolves and the worms, along with the truly dead. Reshy knew that he did not really know what had happened to him, other than that he had woken to the murk of the Ravenwood in the pit where the goblin dead were sent.

    Reshy did not really care. The death pits were crude affairs, the corpses largely remains from alchemical and medical experiments, lightly buried and usually ignored, filled with composting creatures and material. His struggle from the grave seemed to confirm the words of the beguiling mockery that filled his head. In his mind’s eye he saw a leering goblin who sneered at his attempt, at every word and gesture he had ever undertaken, and he was sure the name of that goblin was Skarz.

    She gazes out into the Playground. And tilts her head slightly to the side, seeing the Genasi her daughter has made. They have no fire in them, no hunger or thirst. No emotion, no desire. A pale immitation of those beings she once wrought, which brought utility and art together in their works, and mastered this form of Making until they were blended seamlessly. Their every tool made by this time to be as pleasing to the eye as it is functional.

    She sighs, And strikes her hammer upon the waters in the plane in which she now keeps residence. Her home, and the home of her children. From the water rise forms of water made flesh. Men and women imbued with the knowledge of their brothers and sisters the Earth and Fire Genasi. A finger she spins in the air, and as the dust gathers within the vortex it takes form also, of men and women in multitudes, composed of air made flesh.

    Order of the Summer Sentinels, Shepherd's Lake, Northern Eldarond - Robin and followers

    Shepherd's Lake, named long ago by the surrounding locals was a massive and peaceful place. Nobody really knew why it was called Shepherd's Lake but it was called such for a very long time. Here it was that Robin, the God-Queen of Fire and Summer would make her first mark upon the Playground.

    She stood at the shores of the lake with a large group of followers, they were her first, mostly human but a few halflings and elves even a few goblins joined with her. They carried her banner, a large triangular red cloth with a brass-colored Sun depicted at it's center as they followed her.

    She raised for them a great keep at the shores of Lake Shepherd, massive and forged of stone with large battlements and her banner flowing in the wind. She then blessed them with copper colored armor, the theme of the Sun heavily depicted upon each individual piece and granted them weapons in the form of spears and swords and crossbows. These men an women were to come to be called the Order of the Summer Sentinels.

    The Summer Sentinels was a diverse group, comprised of strong wills and kind hearts. Clerics, Paladins, Fighters and Warriors from all walks of life, commoner and noble brought together in the service of Good. They would wander the lands and provide assistance to the people of the Playground from simple farming to healing and even picking up their weapons as they moved into danger for the Good of all. In times of rest, they would return to Summer's Keep and prepare for their next trip into the wide world.

    Rannes - Somewhere a fair distance from Eldarond

    The Summer Sentinels were certainly a force for good, but there was at least one sentinel in it for the adventure rather than anything else. Now, Rannes still liked to help out from time to time, but really her big draw was exploration and adventure. This draw, in turn, led her to something very special.

    She found an odd metal chunk - a shard of the Visionary - and brought it back to the Summer's keep, hoping to find Robin in order to learn more. She had no idea of the latent power within the fragment - but it was already beginning to seep into her.

    As the ships sail over the disabled submarines, all of a sudden there are massive explosions coming from underwater, as the submarines explode. Little could the invading force know that Field Marshall Skreechy had arranged to secretly placed detonation devices within all vehicles. Perhaps the explosions would miss. Actually most did. But Field Marshall Skreechy was more than willing to sacrifice thousands of Goblin lives if it meant killing one enemy. All these Goblins were dying for the glory of Skreechy.

    Oh yeah, and for the good of Krenko-Ka.

    Skreechy signals to Squeeks "USE THE AIRFORCE! BOMB THEM NOW!" he screams.
    "Do not anger a bard...for you are silly, and would make for a funny song."

    One of Eldarond's ships actually sustained some damage from the explosions, enough to cause a giant gaping hole in it's side but failing to kill any members of the crew thanks to Hlo's pestilence.

    Squeaks rushed to engage the human fleet with his zepplins. Cannons fired in great volleys but for some reason, very few actually hit their targets and the humans, they were ready to respond.

    Eldarond's ships did not possess cannons or gun powder, instead rows upon rows of Psionic Monks lined up upon the decks of their ships and began launching big brass balls at the zepplins, tearing through both wood and steel and even deflating a good number of the large balloons.

    "Aiiiieee!" Screamed Squeaky as his own zepplin took damage from several brass balls.

    Robin was waiting in the courtyard as she sparred with a member of the Sentinels, thrust for thrust, she obviously held back her divinity for the sake of the exercise and when she saw Rannes approach with the shard, she stopped what she was doing and stared at the not-so-human-anymore that walked towards her.

    The Swordsman – Charge of the Fallen
    The call to war had begun. The Swordsman summoned an enormous portal, and the undead charged through it – arriving right on the doorstep of the goblins. The Swordsman raised his blade, and then pointed it forward, towards the enemy. The forces charged. Weapons of all types among them, but at the front, it seemed like a wall of spikes rushed towards the Goblins – Lances.

    Ignus appears in a flash of heat and Light amongst the Ships on the water, and looks up at the 'airforce'. She tilts her head slightly to one side. "Kill them personally, or make use of my mortals..." She shrugs and walks up into the air amidst the vessels. "Cease and desist or I will kill you all... personally."

    The stingrays keep going, flying atop the gathered fleet, while the two voidgrel that made the descent to the ships stand there arms crossed and looking around.

    Realm of Dreams Rosian, Xelnirov, Simdred

    Xelnirov leads his guests to a nearby cave. He carefully disarms to cable traps before entering and once inside whistles till light springs in front of him. Manouvering the source of light he leads the fellow daemon and god deeper inside. The cave forks and he takes a left, eventually leading them to a larger area where he lits a fire. There are several handcrafted wooden racks and hangers holding dry leaves and wildgame. At one corner there is the undistinguishable marks of a extinguished fire which is soon relit under Xelnirov's crafty attentions. He is using little to no magic, using flint and steel to light the home. He puts a kettle, that laid nearby, to it and pours some water from a skin flask along some herbs in it. Then satisfied he goes for some of the animals hanging and takes a rabit, which he begins to skin with his own hands.

    Sit. Talk. Share.

    Upon hearing the last word Simdred coils, hugging herself and more importantly her purse, as if protecting something. Her brother raises an eyebrow at her, the fire enhancing his daemonic appearance.

    What's the problem sister?

    Xelnirov stands and reaches towards her. He extends her hands as to get to the bag she is carrying and pulls hard taking it from her.

    Give it back!

    He doesn't seem to care he just fondles the bag and finally takes a bottle. Rainbow trapped inside it shimmering with prismatic hues. It holds power. Divine power that smells of dreams.

    This is good prize sister, where you got it?

    Simdred doesn't respond, she shudders. She whispers something to low to hear. Xelnirov uncorks the bottle with his tooth Ahn's smell filling the cave as he does.

    You take god's dreams now sister?

    Xelnirov sniffs the bottle and considers taking a sip. All his time he has wanted that. To take a god's dream for himself. To strengthen himself. To become more than he was. But alas this wasn't to be his dream. This wasn't a dream of unparalleled strength. And if he needed to compete with the upstart who had devoured the courage god whole he would need something stronger.

    He turned towards Rosian

    Where she got it?


    Realm of Dreams Rosian, Xelnirov, Simdred

    "Some gods dream in Vivoran, a plane of dreams of my own creation, was destroying other dreams, and lashing out, growing hungrier. She helped me destroy it, and stop it from destroying other dreams near it. I guess she kept part of it's essence once the energy holding it together was destroyed, funnily enough it tried to attack her more then it tried for me. Foul thing wanted everything to burn, especially that which holds divinity."

    Rosian stated after a moment of thought, leaving out a few small details, and lowering the hood of his cloak so that his hair was no longer confined within.
    Fly away from worries you don't want them again, I can feel the time to live.

    Kethneciel, the Cosmic Mother--the Void

    The Implacable Judge walks once more out of the Void, appearing before the Cosmic Mother and bowing deeply. "The recent stirring of my sire's ancient foe disturbs me deeply," he begins without preamble. "If thou art willing, I would hear from thee any ideas of how to combat this threat."

    After the Wedding

    The Marut, silent and observant throughout the wedding and its aftermath, finally animates once more, walking towards Ulvin and inclining its head. "My master wishes to let thee know that he shall do his part to assist thee in this conflict, though he cannot act directly in it," it intones to the god of Courage, before turning to Hemeliosa.

    "My master wished to contact thee, but saw how jealously thou guarded thy rightful lands and did not wish to be seen as an intruder. Thy creation of and strict adherance to thy laws has been noticed by Kethneciel, god of Judgment. He extends to thee an offer to join the Order of Lawful gods, to combat chaos in all its forms.""

    Krenko-Ka--The Battle

    Oussia dips below the Playground, and Phos takes its ascendancy; this means, among other things, that no more Inevitables shall rain down upon the Playground for this season. However, not all Inevitables were destroyed after their objective was met; now they simply wander, searching out ways to fulfill their master's will in their own unique ways on the Playground.

    These battle-scarred Inevitables find themselves drawn to Krenko-Ka, where they begin to punish lawbreakers, much to the dismay of the goblinoid inhabitants.

    Kahla-Craast Dominus

    The waters of the Spawning Pool stir, for the first time in centuries. All Craast nearby gather, settling into groups delineating each type of Craast as the waters swirl and shift, beginning to glow with pale golden light once more.

    Finally, Kahla rises up out of the waters, and as one the Craast fall to their faces in reverence. The Brood-Mother smiles down at them, now three times larger than the average Craast and glowing with latent divinity. "Rise, my children. You have done well in my absence, and now your Mother has returned to you." As she speaks, the Craast that left the Playground all those centuries ago rise out of the water and rejoin their brethren.

    The Void - Ahn

    It was like a little pin-prick at first, the first of the interferences within his Ravenwood. He didn't mind too much but then there was another and another and another. Ahn finally turned his attention to the Ravenwood, to Naia the twisted and sentient tree which dominated the Ravenwood and he spoke through her.

    The Ravenwood - Naia (possessed by Ahn)

    "Hmmmm...hohoho.... seems someone is a lurkin' and a slinkin' in my woods! Where are you, huh? Huh? Come out and play hmmmm? Hehehehehe." Naia's massive branches shook and twisted, harpies flew through the sky as they searched from above and twisted spriggans lept to life, crawling out of their twisted trees within the wood.

    "Well... (a rumbling and deep inhalation).. That smell, I know. Valask, what are you doing in my Woods? Ha! Grew bored did you? The other.. You smell a bit like me! Did I become a father without knowing it? Huh? Huh? Ahahahahaha! Hey, Grenzo! Come see! You made me an Uncle and I return the favor! Ahahahahaha!!!" A great rumbling laughter both deep like the earth itself and shrill as winds blowing through the branches.

    The Grack and the Craast

    "Fetch a hunter and a land singer." The new demand came, and the thing before the Craast began to loom closer to the corpse, examining it. There certainly was potential in these things - seeing the other types would likely allow it to see just how much.

    Squeaks rushed to engage the human fleet with his zepplins. Cannons fired in great volleys but for some reason, very few actually hit their targets and the humans, they were ready to respond.

    Eldarond's ships did not possess cannons or gun powder, instead rows upon rows of Psionic Monks lined up upon the decks of their ships and began launching big brass balls at the zepplins, tearing through both wood and steel and even deflating a good number of the large balloons.

    "Aiiiieee!" Screamed Squeaky as his own zepplin took damage from several brass balls.
    As the Zeppelins would catch fire, they too explode, showering the ships below with fire, debris and of course chunks of Goblins everywhere. Naturally Field Marshall Skreechy had also seen to it that all air crafts be fitted with explosives. The death toll is already horrendous... for the Goblins. Yet deep within Krenko-Ka, Skreechy surrounded by his aide-de-camp is busy wringing his hands and cackling in glee.

    Shog should probably go talk to them. Shog wishes you luck on getting a suit. Shog says before teleporting down.

    Wedding Reception/Aftermath

    Shog sorry Shog here. Shog was not invited but Shog saw Shoglings get into argument. Shog figure if you going to hate Shog, it should be on Shog's merits not just Shog's followers. Shog says when he appears.

    The coast

    The Shoglings finally arrive at the coast. They waited until the dead of night and for the winds to die down before starting to row the final distance into the coast. They had only ten ships and maybe 290 soldiers and a half-formed queen in them but they represented just the first wave. Back home the breeding of the next wave was almost done.

    The plane of Shog
    Yes...heat the fires with air and melt the iron in the fire. Then shape the iron into useful shapes. The brain said sighing. The intelligent Shoglings had been put on hold again. He understood the need to figure out the transport problems but he really wanted some one intelligent to talk to.

    Meanwhile two breeders succeeded their creations. One was a giant worm-like transport that swam through the water easily or moved on land slowly. Its body is covered in small spikes they can launch. While not particularly dangerous against boats they can easily kill a person. They had the ability to resist and heal wounds. They are amphibious creatures with a special sack full of air to hold allies in that had to be refilled every so often. The other creation was somewhat simpler. They developed eggs that would not hatch until water was added. They could last for month in that form allowing for many more Shoglings to be transported with out needing nearly as many resources.

    The Hub
    The strange Shogling is invited to one of the breeding chambers by one of the drones. They naturally wanted to attempt to breed its traits into the other Shoglings. Anything to make the Shoglings more cunning or bigger are worth trying to breed into the pool.

    1 charge on the hub spent to make the Shogships. Large amphibious worm-like creatures designed to allow the Shoglings to transport themselves. With a full crew they have to rise to the surface once every hour so to refill their air sacs. They are covered with launchable spikes. They can easily pierce metal and are relatively accurate but the holes are too small to be really dangerous to boats unless the crew does literally nothing to it. They are also relatively slow except when rising or descending. When fighting boats they attempt to either snipe the crew while their own crew tries to board or rise rapidly under the craft in an attempt to tip it over.
    1 charge from the Brain spent to teach blacksmithing to Shoglings. None of the Shoglings metalworking is in this wave but the ones not in eggs will be wearing it when the third wave comes.
    4=5ap-1ap create subrace: Long lasting eggs. Some queens and Shoglings are capable of making long-lasting eggs that hatch when exposed to water.

    The Shoglings are choosing to attack when they are least likely to spotted and it most difficult for wind powered ships to do anything about them. If attacked in the sea and if it doesn't seem like they can get to the coast they will attempt ramming and boarding but they are hoping to avoid that of course. This wave is mostly Warriors with a few alphas sprinkled in and one young queen (still young enough to be transported and weeks away from being able to bear many children). Still a bit dangerous from their strength (I replaced 10 shoglings for them to get an idea of their size).
