Spoiler: OOCDid you account for the fact that I have 25% chance to negate crits?
Also I took 9 damage and was healed 2 right? (Or 1? Warforged get indeed half the hit points from healing effects.) So I'm not unconscious.

Okay, Ox swings down and cleaves a bandit in half.
The bandit leader smirks to himself turns to Orchid and says to her "Aren't you a pretty thing? I'll try not to ruin you too much." (Make a listen check Orchid.)

The House Orien guards recover from their shock and run into the battle. However, they are too far away to attack at once.

"Move!" Kip snaps at Orchid, pointing her to the space closer to Ox. The small hooded figure works quickly, crouched beside Thing's inert body and running gloved hands over the damage it sustained. He mutters something, most of it lost in the sound of battle. "Reckless fools, makes me—no sense of strategy—don't know how it survived the war."
In the span of a few seconds, Kip remembers what he observed of the warforged, compares Thing's inner workings to what he knows, and categorizes the most important areas that needed to be fixed and what was less vital. He focuses on shaping an efficient transmutation, tracing a particular fibrous bundle to a connected plate, and soon finds what he looks for. He pauses a moment to make sure before lifting his hand over Thing's chest and slamming it down with a resounding clang. "Wake up."

Thing's eyes flicker with a bluish hue. Some strange musical notes resonate in his chest, followed by light crackling. At once, the living construct's eyes turn green. It sits up and puts a massive hand on Kip's shoulder. "Thank you, healer. I am combat ready."
