Recruited right out of school, Nellie was a star at interrogation and restraint.

Most of her success comes from letting people talk. When magic is used she can nullyfy magic and keep people in total body holds. However, her greatest skill is she knows when people lie. Always.

Description: Blond, short crew cut hair, well-built, professional tailored suit and long coat, concealing two leather holsters and several belts of other cannisters and pouches. Almost always wears a pair of sunglasses, but varies between a pair of black sunglasses or mirror shades.

Abilities: Even without magic, Max has served on the front lines against the Albareth empire and is a prime physical combatant, well-versed in hand-to-hand, multiple weapons ranged, close, and magical, and is well-versed in military tactics and protocol. Since his time in the military, he's also become well-versed in forensics, investigation sciences, interrogation techniques, and the general knowledge available to members of the magic council.

History: When the nation of Albareth launched several incursions against the kingdom of Ishgar, Maxwell was on the front lines. He was just a soldier at the time, but managed to survive several battles with the seemingly unstoppable nation. That is until one particular battle when his unit was wiped out and he was knocked unconscious, believing that these were his last moments alive.

He didn't die, but the month or so he remained unconscious, only getting vague glimpses of lab experiments from inside a tube. When he awoke, he was in a recovery room back in Ishgar. The full details of his recovery are still classified, but ever since then his magical aptitude has awoken, including god-slayer magic.

Since then, he's worked as part of a special investigation unit for the Magic Council, working for both internal affairs when it comes to the legit magic guilds and handling missions not trusted to other magic guilds.

Gun Magic: Max's primary magic involves the use of six-shooter pistols which can fire magic bullets or combine to form other gun models, including a tommy gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, or shotgun. Besides regular rounds which are basically energy blasts, Max has 13 other rounds he can generate with his magic and load his guns with.

Archive Magic: Max has proficiency with Archive Magic which he can use to access the vast knowledge centers of the Magic Council. He also uses several 'applications' that can take the magical equivalent of photographs and forensic readings, as well as compress evidence into magical form that only he can recall.

Iron God Slayer Magic: Ever since his coma, Max has had access to Iron God Slayer Magic, able to generate and manipulate various metals, including a 'dark iron' that is normally poisonous even to other Dragon Slayers. Otherwise his magic is similar to Iron Dragon Slayer Magic, and is able to eat metal to restore his magical power.

Equipment: Besides his magic, Max has two pairs of sunglasses which are actually potent magic items, as well as communication lachryma to stay in touch with his partner and headquarters. The sunglasses include

Sabbaton is warm and social person, but dislikes being the center of attention. lucky by nature, but not so much in romance, he's a traveled man that has his fair share of stories, but only tells them to smaller groups of people at a time since he doesnt want be in to big a circle of attention. He is the kind of person to get jealous over another's achievement and will try to one-up said person's achievement unless said achievement is in the kind that saved the world or along those lines

Sabbaton is a Spellbreaker that specializes in counter-spells, anti-magic spells and dispelling enchanments as well as reflecting spells towards his opponents. his fighting style relies almost solely on his opponent using spells to attack, but is a poor physical fighter compared to other, more martial magicians and his first combat tactic is to retreat and let the frontliners do the actual combat, although he has a rapier to defend himself against mundane threats, excluding monsters
