Re: Planetouched play D&D
That kinda makes my head hurt. Did "cloning" happen a lot in the Gundam series?

Re: Planetouched play D&D
Well lets see, as a more recent Gundam Fan who has only watched: Gundam SEED, Gundam SEED Destiny and Gundam 00....
Rau Le Creuset and Mu La Flaga are either clones/related somehow becuase they look very much alike and either clones or twins, and Mu La Flaga if I remember correctly becomes the new Char to replace Rau Le Creuset in SEED Destiny.
while Gundam 00, while not having any real clones per se, did have the two Lockon Stratos bros.... the first season guy and the second season guy who are twins.....the latter of which replaced the other when the first Lockon Stratos dies. and basically serves the same role, looking exactly the same, the only difference being the first was a more into revenge, the second fell in love with a double agent.
So.....yeah. probably? oh and in Gundam SEED Destiny, while they never had any clones of Lacus Clyne, there was one fan girl named Meer Campbell who basically wanted to BE Lacus and therefore accepted a job of basically dressing up as her for a propaganda machine....ended up sacrificing herself so that the real one would live oddly enough.
so yeah, I'd say Gundam probably has done that a lot, and in more ways than just cloning.
Edit: also Rey Za Burrel was a clone of Rau, so.....a real clone in SEED Destiny. yeah.Last edited by Lord Raziere; 2016-04-06 at 04:24 PM.

Re: Planetouched play D&D
And keeping just to UC Gundam, Full Frontal; the Big Bad of Gundam Unicorn, is a clone of Char Aznable. Glemmy Toto pulled ELEVEN Puru clones (counting Puru Two, who'd been active for a while) out for the final battle of ZZ Gundam, most of whom were killed off without getting development. One survived to grow up and become a major character in Unicorn.
If we get into fan theories, there's a popular one that Glemmy was a clone of Gihren Zabi.
But that's just Gundam. The Purus have been looking at other stuff.Last edited by Marlowe; 2016-04-06 at 09:39 PM.

Spoiler: It's probably useful in heavy traffic.
Because calling themselves "Char Aznable and the Doomed Jailbait" would just have raised too many questions.

Re: Planetouched play D&D
My guess is either an AI in the Bawoo or a Xeno hiding from certain death outside among its former buddies. In either case, things should start getting interesting for the ladies soon.

Spoiler: Oh goody. I'm so glad I don't have to foreshadow any more.
From Axis (in its old asteroid-belt location) to Earth can be anything from three to eighteen months. Of course "Ingolstadt" would have a library.Last edited by Marlowe; 2016-04-22 at 06:26 AM.

Re: Planetouched play D&D
HA! A Xeno looking to learn a few things about Humanity? This should get REALLY interesting, provided they don't slaughter it (not sure whether to use gendered pronouns or not) outright.

Spoiler: No dolls were harmed in the making of this strip.
Jane Conty does not have a doll. Cynthia, from MSG the 08th team, on the other hand, looks almost identical to her and does.

Re: Planetouched play D&D
At first I was all gung-ho for recruiting Girls und Panzer characters, but then I reconsidered because at least half their character is 'charmingly un-self-conscious about their bizarre setting' and that is SO not what this comic runs on.
