    Spoiler: Planet Koia
    Show
Planet Koia is an Earth-like planet with two Moons that orbit around the planet. Koia is 13,026 km in diameter, and its weight gives the planet a relatively similar Gravitational Pull as Earth’s with 1.06 times Earth’s Gravity. Koia is a water world, again like Earth with water covering around seventy percent of the planet’s surface, with the rest of the surface covered by six landmasses, including the supercontinent, Alleria. All other features of the planet Koia are fairly identical to Earth’s, from its tectonic movements, to the types of gases contained within its atmosphere.

The two moons that orbit Koia though are what make this world rather unique. It first moon, Lumas, is 3,790 km in diameter and keeps a 488,200 km orbit from Koia. Lumas holds a strong influence on the tidal movements of Koia, as well as being one of the brightest celestial objects in Koia night sky. The second moon, Crishom, is 1,693 km in diameter and a keeps a 237,600 km orbit. Crishom is unique for having a bright red glow in the night sky as a result of its thin atmosphere that bends infrared and red light around the moon. Additionally, Crishom has a unique orbital period where once every year, particularly in the mid-summer, Crishom eclipses the larger Lumas.

    Spoiler: Alleria - The Supercontinent
    Show
The Supercontinent of Alleria is roughly equivalent in size to Earth’s Eurasian landmass. Not only being Koia’s largest continent that accounts for nearly half the world’s landmass; but it’s also recognized as all known human and other humanoid race’s recorded histories as the birthplace of civilization. Alleria is also home to a diverse and broad host of climates, ecosystems, and even geography that are only known to occur in this particular part of Koia.

Alleria is split roughly down the middle of it’s landmass by the Allerian Mountain Range, effectively isolating nearly all fauna, flora, and even cultures, along with the great wonders that spawned from these cultures down the middle. Additionally, the supercontinent’s geographic placement in Koia is passes as far North as the world’s Northern Glaciers, through the equatorial line of Koia, and just past it’s southernmost tropic zone. The most recent regionalizing of Alleria’s climates and geographic landmarks are identified by nations that geography currently resides within.

The Nay’vlan region is home to lush and vibrant environments and Nay’vlan’s most prominent and fantastic feature is the Nay’lanas Rainforest that stretches from the coast, to southern Allerian Mountain Ranges; and it is home to the hundreds of thousands of Koia’s fauna and flora. Surrounding the Nay’lanas Rainforest is the vast rolling hills, known as The Mesozoic Lands, home to swaths of massive herbivore herds, and terrifying carnivores. Along the southern coast of this region is the amazing Moh’ragn Wetlands that stretch nearly 2000 km. Finally there is the Dragonspine Nay’vlan is also where the majority of Megafauna throughout Alleria, including a large variety of dinosaurs, giant insects, satyrs, and many other voracious creatures of Koia.

The Bauntorican region is a mid-temperate, semi-tropical climate, and is most well known for its unique deciduous forest located in the eastern reaches of Bauntorica, known as the Foreverfall Forest that consists of mostly of a unique Maple Tree that has red leaves throughout the year. Then there is The Sacred Mausoleum, an ancient temple where the archangels of the High Planes located on Desda Island, found in the middle of the Engelarch Sea. Desda Island is one of dozens of island clusters, including the Yan-Okra Isles, which comprises of both sea and floating islands.

The Espelrond region is cool and wet temperate climate, with more tundra like environments in its Northern and Northwestern regions, which includes the massive expanse of glacier and grasslands known as The Na’cutris Tundra. Other remarkable and also recently made geographic landmark is the terraformed Northern Allerian Mountains that have been transformed into a fertile Platyartificum Plains. These artificially created plains surrounds the active volcano Mt. Futojuras. Lastly there is the Labyrinta Archipelago that is comprised of more than a hundred ecologically and geographically unique islands.

On the eastern side of the Allerian Mountain Range is the Junkalian Region, which is a more arid climate for the most part. More than two thirds of Junkal is covered by dry desert and scrublands, which are also heavily irradiated throughout the majority of its range as a result of the Cataclysm War. In the more northern region of Junkal is the Meteora Lakes, which are largely the biggest source of freshwater in Junkal. Further east, the climate becomes more coastal and moist, with the expansive Eden Forest that stretches along the northeastern coast being a paradise for much of Junkal’s less hardy plants and animals.

The last of Alleria’s nations is the Grixstinian region, an almost entirely separated chunk of the Allerian continent. Additionally, Grixstina is one of the coldest regions in Alleria, with tundra and permafrost covering nearly seventy percent of the region. Additionally, the entire Northern portion of the Grixstina region is partially or entirely covered by snow 9 out of the 12 months of the year as a result of the Eterna Glacial Shelf. In the Southwest portion of Grixstina is where the only tall temperate forest, found amongst huge rock outcroppings and grassy flatlands known as the Manaspring Shield. Finally, along the very southern tip of Grixstina is the Jungris Strip, a very thin peninsula that is the only portion of land that still holds Grixstina to the Allerian continent.

This far reaching expanse of land not only provides a variety of unique ecosystems and climates for Alleria’s fauna and flora to flourish, but it also gives way for exceptionally unique cultures in every corner of Alleria. Adaptation to Alleria is essential in all parts of the landmass, from the abundant Megafauna, to violent weather systems, and strange yet treacherous stretches of land that are dominated by forces that are still to even modern Allerian societies not fully understood. It is in fact common knowledge to the recorded history of Koia’s civilizations, that the only reason they made it so far was not just it’s people ingenuity, or hardened will, or even bouts of pure luck; but the existence of the great Heroes of Alleria.

    Will post more later

I'm loving how detailed this world is (The Planet Kola stuff, man) but I think I personally need to see a map of some kind. Too many new names at once without pictures is going to have me reeling and the map itself makes some parts of the description go from "necessary to understand what's going on" to more flavorful, descriptive text (things like "an almost entirely separate chunk" or "more than 2/3 is covered by desert").
