And indeed, there is at least one timeline of importance to this one where the statue is not destroyed, but won't be relevant until certain conditions are met important only to the Androids, which will be quite a while, and won't have much of an effect on the wider timeline.

Artic? Didn't the Time Travelers say something about this Frieza guy being descended from Hailing? I mean, wasn't that why they agreed to help us?

They inferred that Frieza is descended from Hailing, but in the absence of information, I cannot say one way or the other if it's true.

Besides, the Empire poses a clear and definite threat to the remainder of the free universe. If they won't do it for us, they'll do it for Iris or even Callins, as its his homeworld that is eventually destroyed by this Frieza.

A Galaxy free of Tyranny is it's own cause. A Tyrant and those who follow him, out of genuine belief in his propaganda or out of greed or hunger for the power following him can give them, regardless in the cost in innocent lives, all dead at the hands of righteous warriors. That destroys an ideology far more completely than a million debates.

That's the thing. I don't think for a moment that Hailing considers what he's doing wrong. He and his ilk think that what they do is right and just, and they think that because there actions are just, they thus can not fail.

Proving him wrong on all fronts before ending his existence is the only way to stop that kind of Tyrant for good.

Arcos would need a new Emperor, of course. Someone skilled and and wanting to do a good job, but humble, so that the power wouldn't go to their heads. Someone from the colonies, who knows what the actual effects of Hailings warring and enslavement has on innocent people, but someone strong enough to not be opposed by any stragglers trying to set things back to the ways of Hailing.

Any nobles who survived the war but supported hailing would, of course, have to be tried and receive just punishment for their crimes against innocent people. Real trials. Fair trials. Not Hailing's trials. If, for no other reason than to prove a point.

It would have taken time, but with the worst of the rot cleaned out, the wound could begin to heal.

Improvements on the design can be used to give our side a major edge in combat against Hailing, to say nothing of the fact that our time-travelers have informed me that at some point in the future, technology will have advanced to such a degree that an ordinary human with a power-level of 5 can be cybernetically enhanced to have a Ki strong enough to fight against Majin Buu, and not only survive, but win.

So. Time Travel. That explains a lot. For example, that... thing.

Age is irrelevant, as I wasn't born. I was made. A comglomete of the DNA and ki of the ten greatest warriors of my time and the techniques of the greatest warriors in history passed down through the generation, onto a template of naturally strong, intelligent, and athletic humans and some of the most badass reptiles and arthropods on earth.

Everything from the simple rock paper scissors fist, to the ultimate miracle of namekian sorcery, the creation of dragon ball and the planet busting Super Nova and everything in between are locked in my genetic memory. I merely need to unlock them and build up the power to use them.

That was before I absorbed biomass from that dragon or from God-King Solitus.

I'm a living weapon, and weapons don't have birthdays.

Though, if it's so important, it has been four years, from my perspective, since I emerged from the gestation tank of my incubator.

The androids may have heard all of that, the end of that, or none of that.

Long ago, I forget how many greats grandpa Buu was noticing that humans had husbands and wives and children and families, but there was nobody like him around, and he got lonely. Then one day, he was wandering around in his friend Mr. Satan's house and found his way in the library.

Then he read a porno novel and got entirely the wrong idea from it.

So then he took some of his mass and used his magic to turn it into great great I forget how many greats Grandma Buuby. Course, nowadays she goes by Ms. Buu.

They got married, and a little bit later they decided they wanted a baby, so Grandpa and grandma took bits of their mass and hit them with love beams from their antenna and made one less great grandpa Baby Buu. And then they had more kids, and more kids, and more kids, and more kids, and the kids grew up and since we don't have DNA and don't have sex to reproduce there was nothing wrong with the first majin kids getting married and having their own babies when they grew up, and here we are!

They have only heard legends and tales of Majin Buu, supposedly of a time long past committing atrocities long before the age you say he appeared. His name is spoken in the same tones as Beerus, the God of Destruction. Such tales do not originate lightly, so there must be some truth to them. However the details can be lost in the telling until it becomes myth.

Ox-Sea-Reed-Bow:
He comes from the Year 1000. He himself, has only heard tales of Majin Buu. The story he is told however, is of his second appearance. That he was the sidekick of one named Mr. Satan. That he propagated your race. That he was friendly, and makes no mention of any atrocities he committed. His account matches your own. Mostly.

The Androids:
They however, have seen Majin Buu directly- enough to have some fearful malady as a result of the encounter and act shocked when reminded of the events. That doesn't mean they know the full story. All that they know, is that the version of Majin Buu they encountered was one that posed a danger to all of humanity and that they had to defend the world they grew up in.

Your account matches Ox-Sea's. The only difference in yours is that you say that Majin Buu had something to do with Beerus after his second appearance.

The only thing that matches in all three of the future accounts of Majin Buu is the year of his second appearance: 774. The same year he benevolently showed up in both your accounts is the same year that the Androids fought him while he was menacing humanity. Thus there is a missing piece of the puzzle:

According to the Androids, Cell was not made in their timeline and that Z-Fighters all died to Majin Buu. While in both your timelines, you now full well of Cell, the Z-Fighters all lived to start schools and Majin Buu is alive as well.

So, what difference, did Cell make to the timeline? Well according to Ox-Sea, he was the greatest creation of this sorcerer, Dr. Gero. The Z-Fighters would clearly have to train harder to defeat him. Thus when they beat Cell, they were strong enough to keep training for the next seven years and thus when Majin Buu appeared, they were probably strong enough to stand against him. However, since they did not possess the draining powers of the Androids they could not defeat him entirely, as he had regeneration abilities. Thus it was a standoff, so they found some way of persuading them over to their side before he started wreaking havoc upon the rest of the planet, and thus he was taught to be good by the Z-Fighters, redeemed from being a monster into a better person. The reason you never heard about it, was that they probably fought out in some wasteland where no one could get hurt, thus their battle in history was never written down and the Z-Fighters didn't want to ruin his reputation so his origins were never recorded so people would accept him.

To put it simply: In your timeline at least, he once WAS a monster, but had a change of heart and was a monster no more.

Technically to my point of view, this is all in the future, so technically these are only possible Majin Buu's that could exist, so technically to me he is both and neither, but for you and Ox-Sea's purposes he is redeemed from being a monster."

Kami doubles over in laughter. It is a hoarse, joyless, mocking laughter. It takes a moment for him to collect himself. "You've got balls, have to admit that. Doesn't make you any less stupid, but it's something", he says. He lifts his mask a bit in order to wipe a tear off the corner of his eye. "There you stand, saying you want me to teach you, yet now you claim I've learned nothing. Spot the contradiction yet?"

Kami pulls his mask back down and stands up. "Let me tell you a secret: there are only two kinds of gods, those who are born into it, and those who choose to become so. Me, I'm not the former kind. I wasn't given this position, I took it. And the gods above me? They really didn't have a say in it. The guy who decides who goes to Heaven and whoe goes to Hell? Used to be I could wrestle him to the ground with one hand behind my back. Sunny-boy, who looks after the Sun? Limp-wristed bureaucrat who couldn't keep his half-mortal son in check! The guy who rules this quadrant of the universe? A short blue dude with bad sense of humour, and I hear he's been putting on weight lately. Those guys used to fear me. They cowered at the mention of my name!"

"Now? Now they don't, because now I'm a human and old, and they know I will once wither away and die. And they keep rubbing it on my face, and it pisses me off to no end! Because what this experience has taught me is: fear is what keeps morons from jumping on and off my property and making their inane demands!"

For a moment, the lookout quakes, the loose stone elements rattling and grinding against each other. The number indicating Kami's power level on Callin's screen oscillates for a moment, as if minute pulses of power escaped from Kami. Iris, who isn't relying on technological gadgets, experiences something different. For a moment, she can see a black humanoid shade hovering behind Kami. Its three eyes flicker fiery red before it fades from view.

Kami crosses his arms on his chest. "Your first mistake, Tuffle, is that you're not afraid of me. You should, at minimum, be afraid of the possibility I will not teach you what you want, and then you will die a miserable and pointless death because of that. Because the difference between us is: I don't need what you're selling. Even if it's something I might want, I can afford to kick you and all your knowledge off this platform. That's an acceptable price for teaching a bunch of disobedient brats to respect their elders."

I did not come to you to learn to be Kami, or to learn to be a sad old man who tries to use his past as a way to justify his present. No I came to you to learn Magic, yet you so love to turn arguments around to try and make you seem so important. If you are so High and Mighty as you claim, then you should not even worry about what I or my friends think of you.

Callins then moves around as he turns his back to Kami. He seems to focus on the village and its people.

Now I will not fear you, or even respect you, till you give me proof as to why, for you have done is the opposite. And yet you think I should fear the fact that you may not teach me. HAHA, you are quite the hubris one. There clearly others on this planet who could teach me. You just happened to be my first choice. "It won't make them any less afraid of me. Because their condemnation or moral indignation will not make me any less able of destroying them." He swings the iron lasso above his head and slings it at Callin with tremendous force. The scouter in Callin's helmet goes wild, as if the chain itself is alive with power level in the hundreds. If he doesn't dodge, the loop will tighten around him and trap his arms against his sides.

A focused ray of sunlight alights upon him, and great sonorous voice of divine authority booms, its intonations echoing throughout the sky:

Kami's chain just went through Callins, as if he was not there. His body dropped to the ground, as the sun Kami was there. Though soon the body dissappeared, it was clearly an after image. Callins was gone, his PL was not even detectable. That is till a Ki blade was jutting out of Kami's stomach. Callins had moved behind kami, and generated a blade. He sent it into the old demon's stomach as it stuck out the other end.

"....I dunno, magic is usually different from ki stuff, more ritualistic and such if I remember, so unless he is dueling him to see if he is worthy or something....I dunno. Kami is kind of a jerk. He made the Arcosians do menial chores instead of actual training, he called me a "crazy woman" as far as I can recall...can you tell if its a "prove your worthy" fight or a fight-fight? However, the sudden ray of light distracted him of Callin long enough to not notice he wasn't caught. Kami notices there's no-one at the end of the chain at about the same moment when Callin strikes him. "Bah." He lets the chain drop to the ground, flexes his abs and the Ki blade that struck him breaks - dispelled by stronger Ki flowing from Kami's body. Callin might notice there's eerie lack of anything resembling blood.

And then Kami draws his own knifes. The motion is so fast it sends a sharp shock through the air and Callin might be struck by it even if the dodges the blades. At the same instant, the Tuffle's scouter gives a warning - it's as if Kami's, or rather, his knives' power level jumped close to thousand. They're likely much more dangerous than their relatively mundane appearance hinted.

The shockwave in the air was easily absorbed by Callins' armor. He knew it would be, which means he was able to focus his energy on dodging the knifes.He launched himself at the knifes, and twisted around them, contorting his body to fit into the spaces where he'd be safe. He was underneath Kami by the time he dodged all the knifes.

with a sharp uppercut, Callins tried to cup Kami in the chin, while launching a Ki shotgun with the strike.
