D&D Ingame Board Game Help!!!
I've been thinking about adding a board game to bring up in game. I would like to write real rules even if my players never play the game. I'm thinking chess like rules but not chess. Only a bit close to chess. If you have any stories where you've done this in a game I'd love to hear how it went too. Thanks

May I present you to one of the greatest things I have ever accidentally come across on the tubes.

Having encountered this situation before I personally recommend some of the Shoji variants when dealing with a mostly western gaming table as they will instinctively see it as chess-like but still "fantasy"Having trouble writing up hard stat blocks but I'm doing a lot of sharing ideas and soft mechanics lately.
