Quick draw

For the purpose of quick draw I've been using it as a way to freely switch between weapons without penalty. Though after reading more I found it only let's me draw a single weapon faster but says nothing about sheathing it. Would I essentially drop my to grab the new weapon one or am I spending my move action to put my other weapon away first? Or does it not matter

By RAW, sheathing a weapon is a Move Action not covered by Quick Draw, you can definitely drop your first weapon to draw another and still keep all your actions though.

If you have TWF then you can draw two weapons (Light or One handed) as a free action.

Incidentally, this is what the Gnome Quickrazor is for.

'Quick Draw lets you quick sheathe' is also an extremely common house rule, so you could try asking your DM.
