"Feel free to leave for there about two minutes after I've left." Halva tells her, smiling. "If that's all, I'll leave you to it!" She says, then leaves the brothel to meet Ruwa outside.

Adalind

Adalind has a good time picking out the dresses and the ring. It's kind of relaxing to have so many impressions and sounds after a long, boring journey on the sea. She hopes that she got Aline's size correct. It's quite hard to gues things like that, despite the fact that Aline tends to shows a lot of skin.
When Tsohon buys her the ring she rewards him with a kiss on his cheeck, he's been nothing but friendly so far.
"Hello Kyaum. Our night was enjoyable, yes. Somebody wrote something i didn't understand on my face while i was sleeping though. Probably some dirty word or something, doesn't matter much to me. It was bothering Ruwa so i wiped it away. Despite that it really was a night worth repeating.
Next time you should join us. "

Sabrina

"It was, thank you," Sabrina says as the creepy priestess stares into her eyes. She didn't seem as nice as Zafi. "Did you have a pleasant night as well?"

[PersonMan]

Zahiri smiles one final time as Halva leaves. "Thank you for your business, and tell Ruwa I wish her luck in her future endeavors."

As Halva returns outside, Ruwa's gaze snaps to her - she'd been looking up at one of the curtained windows of the brothel. She smiles, stepping towards the hooded woman. "Did it go well?" She asks, moving to begin heading up into the city as soon as Halva reaches her.

"I doubt it would be enjoyable for you. I tend to make it difficult for those around me to enjoy sinful reveling," Kyaum replies to Adalind, eyes never leaving those of the other redhead as she speaks, voice somehow sucking all emotion from her words. She turns to Sabrina and smiles slightly. "I burned myself in flames and spent the time considering the varied sins of this city's people. Yes, it was a very nice night."

"It did. Zahiri said she wishes you well." Halva tells Ruwa, as she walks alongside her and towards the temple garden. While it's not the woman's words verbatim, it's a lot warmer than what she actually said.

Sabrina

Sabrina hadn't quite pegged it before, but now she knew. One of those types. She hadn't known they came in such pleasant, and honestly hot, bodies, but she mentally overlaid the image of Kyaum with that of the grumpy old crone from her village and it was a perfect fit. Sabrina had just assumed the grumpy disapproval of fun and enjoyment was something people grew into over time, but in retrospect there's no reason they couldn't be born that way. She suppressed a giggle at the thought of the priestess with a wimple and a crooked back, muttering dark things about 'young ladies these days', and managed to turn it into a pleasant smile instead. "Ah. How charming."

[PersonMan]

Ruwa cracks a smile. "I guess that's nice of her, after all the money I've given her," she says, with a chuckle. "I think we'll have to wait with the market until later. I hope you're not too unhappy with me dragging you off to help me with this errand," she adds, giving Halva a hopeful look.

Kyaum shrugs. "Maybe. It's not something I'd wish on most anyone. I don't seek out their sins, they don't try to endure my devoutness," she replies, her gaze lowering slightly. "Many things are forbidden, and to expect the average person to adhere to every rule is to drive away all but the most rigid believers. They all have a place, and when they come to their pilgrimage, they are all forgiven," she continues. "But I am afraid I'm letting my mind speak without guidance - I doubt you wish to listen," she finishes, shrugging again.

Halva lets out a mildly malevolent chuckle and keeps walking.

[PersonMan]

Ruwa and Halva make their way up through the market, then past it to the inner city, the peace of the early morning returning in the quiet area around the temple and its garden as they near their destination. Before long they find Tsohon, Sabrina and Adalind already there, speaking to Kyaum, near the entrance to the gardens.

[Hazuki]

Halva takes in a deep breath as they reach the temple gardens, and the beauty they bless her eyes with. She's not quite sure why she does, because the air there is as fresh as the air she's been breathing for the half hour of walking, but she does it regardless. She soon spots her friends, the kindly gentleman who's helped them get acquainted with the new lands, and the Priestess whose thoughts are particularly loud. She strolls easily over to the group and gives them all a wave.

"Good morning, all. How are things?"

Sabrina

Sabrina tilts her head, wondering for a moment if she'd misjudged the Priestess, before Halva and Ruwa came in from the side. Sabrina gave them both a smile and beckoned them over. "Not bad. Adalind found some interesting fabrics. How was your errand?"

[Hazuki]

"It went smoothly enough." Halva shrugs her shoulders. "Didn't get a chance to go the market, though - maybe we can go after whatever we've done here?"

[Steckie]

Adalind

"I need to pick up the dresses i purchased, so i'll be goig there anyway." Adalind says while carefully avoiding to react at anything Kyaum said. Seems like she's one of THOSE religious types, constantly looking down on people that don't follow the rules just the way she sees them. The church back home had some of those types as well. She didn't get along with them and has discovered it is best to just ignore them when they go into one of their rants.

[PersonMan]

Tsohon nods. "We can certainly return to the market, if it isn't too late. I fear I may wish to retire earlier than you all, so if our return is long after dark I may not be able to accompany you," he says.

"Zafi will be joining us shortly; she will be escorting you on the way back. She should be happy to escort you through the markets if needed," Kyaum adds after a moment, looking over to the temple, but not seeming to see anything that grabs her attention.

[Hazuki]

"Sounds like a plan." Halva grins and claps her hands together. "So, are we going into the temple, or...?"

[Steckie]

Adalind

"Indeed, we've been waiting here for a while. And now that Halva is finally here, maybe we can start doing whatever we should be doing."

Sabrina nods plot-progressingly.

It's a very specific kind of nod.

[PersonMan]

Ruwa raises an eyebrow at Adalind's words. "A while? Did we take that long?" She asks.

Just after she speaks, the entrance to the garden is passed through by two women, both about as darkly skinned as Tsohon. The first is clad in tightly-wrapped, colorful cloth that practically glows in the light, creating a stark contrast to her smooth dark skin with its array of bright blues and greens. She smiles warmly and her brown eyes go across the group before resting on Sabrina, the moment causing a slight sway in her long braid of hair. Her companion wears less clothing that is less eye-catching for a moment before it flashes in the light as she steps out of a shadow, dozens of small pieces of metal sending bursts of reflected light out from them, stealing what little show the simple light cloth wrappings beneath them had. Her hair is done in an entirely different fashion from her companion, cut along the middle of her head into one short half and another that's worked into a series of braids that extend down to her shoulder. She looks over the group briefly as well, and the two split up slighty, with the metal-wearing one standing slightly closer to Adalind and the other closer to Sabrina.

Kyaum watches them as they enter the garden, raises an eyebrow but says nothing, turning towards the group. Ruwa seems suddenly intent on pointedly ignoring them, turning to inspect a nearby flower while her father begins to chuckle to himself.

"Good morning," they begin in unison, doing a brief bow. "My name is Gashi," the woman with the longer hair says, her companion continuing without missing a beat. "And I am Kan. We've been asked to come and help relieve you of some stress from your lengthy voyage," she says.

Sabrina

Sabrina smiles at the pretty girl in not very much clothing, turning in time to catch Ruwa's embarrassed look and misinterpret it. "I could get used to the customs in this city, they are lovely," she says, giving Ruwa a pleased look which seemed to make her even more embarrassed, before turning back to Gashi. "What did you have in mind?"

Sabrina puts two and two together and gets seven.

Adalind

"Oh great, we've been here for a day and already somebody is trying to scam us.
Two scantilly dressed pretty women show up and offer us something without asking for money. That's more than a bit suspicious, right? It's some sort of scam, it's got to be. They've probably got a 'great investment opportunity' or something like that."

[PersonMan]

Ruwa doesn't seem to notice that Sabrina's talking to her, or if she does her only reply is a brief 'hmph'. Her father only grins as Adalind speaks, shrugging at Kyaum and stepping over to his daughter, nudging her and whispering something. The priestess herself nods at some point, then shifts to look over at the temple entrance.

"Thank you," Gashi replies, beaming at Sabrina's words and moving a bit further forwards. "Watch and see," she says, reaching down to adjust the cloth wrapped around her slightly, then spinning briefly in place - a motion that makes some of the colorful fabric slip from its place, revealing a stretch of smooth skin around her navel and adding another flair of color to her movements. She comes even closer to Sabrina, not even a full arm's length away as her swaying motions pick up speed, every movement without the slightest hesitation or pause, her constant movement sending the freed fabric fluttering about around her and emphasizing a different part of her as she subtly shifts the direction and rhythm of her movements.

"We aren't asking for money because we've already been paid," Kan says with a grin. "You just need to relax, stop worrying," she continues, stepping a bit closer and looking into Adalind's eyes. "Just keep those pretty eyes of yours on me," she says softly, beginning to sway from side to side, slowly building speed, arms moving as if to pull in the woman's gaze with their motions as the metal on her clothes flashes. As she continues, her arms rise, wrapping around each other and pointing up while she moves her hips, slowly coming a step closer to Adalind as the myriad metal pieces of her clothing send light out from her curves.

Adalind

Adalind pulls her eyes away from Kan's mesmerising movement. It's difficult, what that woman is doing is almost hypnotic, but she's too suspicious to be swept away by her dancing."No. No no. Noooope. Don't trust this, not at all. This is just too damn weird.
And what do you mean that you've already been paid? Who the hell would pay you to come here and dance for me?
I can't relax and i wont stop worrying without some more information. And why do i need to keep my eyes on you, is there something around here you're trying to distract me from?" Adalind asks while she starts frantically looking around for anything suspicious. There MUST be something.

"She really wasn't kidding about you needing to calm down, was she?" Kan asks, dancing more slowly but not quite stopping. "A friend of yours decided you needed to unwind, so she bought a dance for you," she says.

"There's nothing to be afraid of. This ground is under the protection of rai harshen wuta," Kyaum adds, glancing away from her scanning of the temple entrance.

Sabrina

Sabrina smiles as the woman dances from side to side, giving Adalind a sidelong look before returning her appreciative gaze to the dancer. "Relax. They won't bite," she says, grinning. "Well, they probably won't."

[Steckie]

Adalind

"A friend.....? Dammit, Halva!
You're taking things too bloody far. I can take the occasional prank, but THIS? What could you possibly hope to gain from this? And maybe you could have taken a moment to think about how i would feel about this. Maybe this is the kind of situation that brings back painfull memories of my mother having suitable men dance around in front of me because she feels i need to 'secure the lineage', but you just go ahead and have you your little moment of fun.
This is just...... just......" She walks over to Halva, kicks her against the shin and spits on her shoes.

Halva shakes her head at Adalind, as her shoes shimmer and the spit disappears. "Yes, I thought about how you'd feel. That's why I bought them. Look at Sabrina - that's how most people would react. You've been tightly-wound about everything we've done so far, and I thought this would help you relax. We're in a safe environment, I paid them for their services, and you two are probably some of the prettiest clients they've ever had. If you'd like to tell me what's so abhorrent about what I've done, illuminate me." She replies, calmly.

[Steckie]

Adalind

"You didn't ask, something popped up in your head and you just went along with it without asking if i'd like it."
Adalind walks back to Kan. "Sorry, but i'm really not in the mood for your dance. You're very good though. And while i'm not interested in the dance, i am interested in your dress. It's quite an interesting fabric and the metallic plates make for a beautifull effect. Would you sell that dress?"

[Hazuki]

"Dear diary: Today I learned to never do nice things for Adalind, unless I get a permit first." Halva says out loud, as she adjusts her gloves. She strolls up to Tsohon and Ruwa. "What're the plans for the rest of our day?" She asks, smiling.

[Steckie]

Adalind

"Oh don't be ridiculous, no need for a written permit. A simple verbal agreement is just fine." Adalind says sarcastically.

[PersonMan]

Kan abruptly stops as Adalind storms off, clearly confused - and seeming a bit worried as well. She watches her and Halva with an apprehensive gaze.

Kyaum's hard eyes drift back to the group as the redheaded archer moves, but she looks away again after only a moment, while Ruwa spins away from her exchange with Tsohon, one hand going to the blade bound into its sheath at her side before she relaxes again.

Kan's confusion grows as Adalind returns, and she blinks a few times at her question. "Ehm - I'm sorry, what?" She asks. "I...normally I would think you were just looking for a different way to ask me to strip but...you're serious? Well, I couldn't do it now, but if you come down this evening I could have it ready. I think a hundred seventy silver would do."

"We'll be going up to see the Pool of Burning Water, then likely returning here," Tsohon explains to Halva.

"We can leave in a few moments - it seems Zafi is almost here. I will most likely be staying at the temple," Kyaum adds, approaching the two. Emerging from the temple entrance is the familiar figure of the fighting priestess, clad in the same white cloth as before, smiling as always.
