Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
Oh wow, I was not expecting this, or anyone to actually read that wall of text. You know the entire point of that one paragraph with my many hobbies was to point out how silly it is to try and be realistic in d&d. Though it does give you a chance to use all of those huge number of skill points. I really need to play a factotum sometime, probably not a very optimized one though. I could probably find some interesting interactions between its abilities for a bit of fun.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
Psh. Realistic version of me:
Eldan
Human Expert 3
Str 8, Dex 7, Con 6, Int 15, Wis 12, Cha 10
Feats: Skill Focus: Knowledge (nature), Iron Will, Open minded
Most of us would be similar to that, more or less. Slightly different, but similar stat array, few different feats, but more or less like that. It's not very interesting.Last edited by Eldan; 2015-08-21 at 10:18 AM.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
Iirc according to the PF alcohol rules, I'd have a con score of at least 20. So the rest of my array is either very very good cause I picked a good array, or abysmal cause it's point buy.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
For some reason looking at the Chaotician made me think of combining the duskblade and shadowcaster in a build. That was right after thinking that the prc would look good on a duskblade then shadowcasters are both int and cha based. Finally who needs the chaotician. I think that is the main problem i have with the prc it makes me think of other things to do besides it.
Unfortunately as the shadowcaster advances his casting, his low level spells become unable to be channeled. Though the channeling is a little bit tenuous in the first place.

I grant permission! Let's see what you can make of me.
Oh, as an aside: I'm named after a silver half-dragon paladin that I've used in game on occasion (that's for you, LP )See my Extended Signature for my list of silly shenanigans.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
To be fair, I only gave myself a 16, which is probably closer to a 15 than anything. I used to be smarter, but then kickboxing. I think I might have gotten a concussion and not realized it.
Though the weird thing is my grasp of Math is far more limited than my grasp of History and Science.Last edited by IZ42; 2015-08-21 at 09:19 PM.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as NPCs
Many of those people would have regular or high Charisma. Charisma does not automatically equate to likeability or even social capability. You can have someone who does not understand other people at all and still have a forceful or overbearing personality.
There are also people in there who can't do 6th grade math or remember anything they've been told, despite playing such a game for <X> time and/or being in their 20s, indicative of low intelligence.Spoiler: Quotes!

"I apologise, my friend. But all I see are normal people doing bizarre things [implied: That such things aren't that bizarre at all] and [I] pronounce you insane [for calling them crazy] before obtaining a report on their condition by a registered mental health professional."
