After a bit of examination, you figure out the general gist of the magic placed within. Although you're not sure exactly what they do, you can sense magic turned towards the ends of protection, stability, and dampening rage.

A female guard comes in through the door. "Her Majesty will see you now," she says in a voice that's strikingly melodic and beautiful.

Thank you. Sicale smiles and nods to the pony as he walks to the throne room.

"Hmm. Curious," mumbles Elixir to himself.

Steel-Sicale cringes inwardly, knowing Iron lacked subtlety but there wasn't an outcome he pictured in his head when he attempted to persuade Iron to let him handle the Princess that wouldn't end in problems down the road.
Iron... Sicale opts for an alternate plan. Encouragement. You can do this. I got your back.

[Crimson Doom]

The guard leads you through a few different hallways. Lots of twists and turns, but someone who was paying enough attention (read: gets high enough on Streetwise) could probably navigate back there if necessary.

Eventually, you reach a room with extremely large, crystalline, fancy-looking doors. The guard knocks on the doors in a specific pattern. After a moment, the doors open, revealing a large throne room.

In the throne is Princess Cadance. To the ponies in the audience, she appears extremely beautiful; to Iron Wing, she just looks like a pink alicorn. On the right of the throne is a white unicorn in purple armor; presumably her general.

You're pretty sure that the white unicorn is her husband, Shining Armor.

To the left of her throne is a female crystal pony, sky blue in color and wearing very thick glasses. She's got a pen in her mouth, held at the ready over a large sheath of paper.

"Greetings to you all," Princess Cadance says, clearly trying to sound regal but not quite there yet. "May I know your names, and how you know Princess Sparkle?"
