No, it is the Aotrs standard-issue SK series Snake lich-portable guided missile launcher (which I affectionally call a "rocket launcher"), currently using the SK-4 generation warhead for use as anti-armour and anti-aircraft (and anti-personnel is necessary); the launcher itself is big and hefty enough it is a quite serviceable bludgeoning weapon it is own right (which I am personally rather fond of using it as).

Reminds me of when I first beat MGS3... I could not get the CQC timing down to beat the final boss, but what I could do was equip the rocket launcher, have her steal all the ammo from it, and then use the melee button to wield it as a club. SNAKE SMASH! And then I remembered the basics of CQC: "Don't." Hand-to-hand may be the basis of all combat, but I have a rocket launcher.

Squid Launcher has the problem of one use ammunition. Snake launcher, though, that's the fun part. Fire a snake in someone's face, fire a snake in someone's sock drawer, fire a snake in their car, their cubicle, their mailbox, their underwear. They're also small, so you can fit plenty of them into a cartridge for semi-automatic fire.

Bit of head canon and a story idea I'm throwing out there for anyone to use if they want.

Was Luna possessed when she was Nightmare Moon or was it entirely under her own power?

Both.

The Nightmare was a dream creature of Luna's own creation just like the Tantabus. Its purpose was to have its own well of magic that could combine with Luna's in order to supercharge her for combat. Unfortunately its creation was tainted by her anger and jealousy, and you know the rest.

Post Tirek Luna revisits the idea and concludes that her dream creations will always be affected by her emotional state at the time of their creation. She comes up with the idea that if she focuses on her love for her friends, family and subjects along with her desire to protect them things would go much better this time.

It works.

With one complication.

It turns out that her feelings for (insert your favorite Luna ship here) are much stronger than she realized. Which of course heavily influenced her new gaurdian spirit and her own behavior while bonded with it.

Romantic comedy ensues.

So, today has been mostly spent clearing the loft. As Dad is now retired he wants to convert the loft into his "man-cave" and the chaps want to start next Friday, so it's been a bit of a rush to get the stuff cleared.

What I have MOSTLY been doing is sorting through my paperwork - as I deep-stored EVERY SINGLE piece of paperwork from my higher education (so about six year's worth), plus the remnents of school wortk going back literally thrity years. And it needed sorting, because there were a few vital bits pulled out of the morass.

It will surprise literally NONE of you to hear that an astonishing amount of school pictures (and scribbles in later notes) comprise starships, blood and people and animals being killed/maimed destroyed.

I wondered what my teachers must have though, and then remembered they had, of course, actually MET me...

A few things worth keeping were dug out... For one, the story (from what must have been early days at college (that's "college" in the UK sense, not the Us one, i.e. "university") just over 19 years ago) was labelled

WARNING: THIS STORY SHOULD NOT BE READ BY ANY PEOPLE WITH A DELICATE STOMACH OR ANYONE WHO LIKES THOSE ANNOYING AMERCIAN TEENAGERS FROM SITCOMS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Which, from that alone, was clearly worth saving.

Because you can spend however many thousand to fix up the roof and you still have a house that's only around 100k? Or for ambitious do-it-yourself-ers, though probably not many have the expertise for roof repair. Or flippers perhaps.

Yeah. I credit growing up in Vancouver to have permanently altered my sense of normal real estate pricing. Any sort of house for under like half a million instantly trips my "Whoa, so cheap!" response, regardless of local conditions. Hopefully you find something suitable, with no holes.

Pah, it costs them nothing to release a clip. I'm hoping the episode is just so jam packed of goodness that they can't spoil even a single second.
