Simple thought on Parson.
Probably been brought up, but here goes anyway.
It's been noted that Parson has NO Stats at all.
The reason, I feel, is because he hasn't been assigned any.
YET.
His growth, what he ends up with in terms of skills in this world, is based entirely on what he ends up doing.
Example: Stanley puts Parson in the battle field as a melee unit, as he intends. So he goes out there, and(Due to the whole size difference(Strength difference, too?) does well. After a few rounds of this, if he checked himself, he'd have Melee and Ranged attack/defence stats. And maybe start gaining special abilities that related to that. Or if he worked with Siege machines a lot, he'd learn to repair them, and gain skills that would allow him to make them stronger, do more. If he spends more time working on strategy, he could give passive benefits to those units using his strategies
Do you see? I see Parson as completely mutable. He could in time end up being the 'perfect unit/perfect warlord' Stanley wants.
The problem, of course, is him surviving that long.

Re: Simple thought on Parson.
To me, Parson is more like the player of a minature game; he isn't a unit and shouldn't have stats.

Re: Simple thought on Parson.
I'm guessing that, if Parson ended up on the battlefield as a unit, his impressive stature would only give Ansom's forces more to eviscerate. He's not a particularly physical guy, so I imagine he'd get ripped apart by pretty much anything.
Either that, or he wouldn't be attackable, because he has no stats to compare to any other units he'd come into combat with.

Re: Simple thought on Parson.
Parson's stats are invisible, not nonexistent, as evidenced by the fact that his leadership bonus and upkeep costs were calculated based on their ingame effects.
Work in progress.

Re: Simple thought on Parson.
agrees with above. it's like using a magical item you haven't identified yet. you know it's doing something, you just aren't sure what.
I would be a procrastinator, but I keep putting it off.
