Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as Templates (have we seriously not done this yet?)
Jewel Knight
Jewel Knight is an acquired template gained through the ritual of the great gem (which requires the ingestion of 1000 GP worth of jewels) and can be applied to any living creature which lacks the Air, Fire, or Water subtype.
Size and Type: The creature gains the Earth subtype.
Hit Dice: As base creature.
Speed: The base creature loses any non-magical flight speed it possesses.
Armor Class: The base creature's Natural Armor increases by +4.
Attacks: No changes.
Damage: No changes.
Special Attacks: The creature retains all special attacks of the base creature and gains the following ones.
Earthen Smite (Su): Once per day + once per 4 hit dice a Jewel Knight may make a special smite attack with a melee or ranged attack against any creature with a fly speed or the Air subtype. The earthen knight gains a bonus to hit equal to their Constitution modifier if positive and a bonus to damage equal to their hit dice or double that against an air subtype creature. This ability is wasted if used on a creature which lacks a fly speed and the Air subtype, and a Jewel Knight may only use this ability when they have a solid object connecting them to the ground (a rope, a building, a horse).
Special Qualities: The creature retains all special qualities of the base creature and gains the following ones.
Appraise Gems (Ex): A Jewel Knight can instantly and unerringly determine the value of any gem stone.
Damage Reduction (Ex): A Jewel Knight gains Damage Reduction equal to their Constitution modifier overcome by adamantium.
Darkvision (Ex): A Jewel Knight gains darkvision 60 ft or their darkvision increases by 30 ft.
Gem Hunger (Ex): A Jewel Knight loses the ability to eat regular food instead sustaining themselves by eating 3 GP worth of gemstones each day. A Jewel Knight has no need to drink water.
Gem Sight (Su): To the eyes of a Jewel Knight gemstones radiate light equal to that of a hooded lantern.
Tremorsense (Ex): A Jewel Knight gains tremorsense out to 30 ft.
Saves: No changes.
Abilities: A Jewel Knight gains a +4 bonus to Strength, and a +4 bonus to Constitution.
Skills: A Jewel Knight gains a +2 bonus to all Craft checks increasing to +6 on those that deal with gems and jewelry, a Jewel Knight gains +4 on Appraise checks.
Feats: No change.
Environment: Underground.
Organization: No change.
Challenge Rating: +1.
Treasure: Double gems.
Alignment: No change.
Advancement: No change.
Level Adjustment: +2.Peanut Half-Dragon Necromancer by Kurien.

Not sure if I qualify as a regular, but I'll throw my consent up here just for kicks.
Fairy tales do not tell children the dragons exist. Children already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as Templates (have we seriously not done this yet?)
It doth appear I have been remiss in this thread! I have totally failed to post my random silly things! This is terrible! A Regulars thread without silliness!
Spoiler: Short today (which is good, because Mister Internet does not like me today).
Yes. I know there's no actual power-armour in the gundamverse. I just wanted to play with zaku sprites.
Spoiler: Giantitp is NOT playing nice with Imgur these days.
Spoiler: Yay, Something easy.
Some are born to villainy, some rise to it, and some have villainy thrust upon them. Take a guess which applies to Mashmyre.
Spoiler: Sometimes you dodge the bullet.
Apparently, Matilda spent some time after getting killed watching British telly.
Nyssa and Tegan are two companions of the Doctor from the Tom Baker/Peter Davidson era. Tegan's introductory story was the the same one in which Tom Baker's Doctor "died" and became Peter Davidson, which is fairly memorable because it was the first time I'd seen a Doctor regenerate.
I find it hard even now to think of Nyssa and Tegan separately, since even though they were quite different people they had a tendency to keep getting mentioned together, usually as part of the formula "[They've captured/They've got/We have to help/We have to rescue] Nyssa and Tegan". This apparently is because the BBC didn't like Nyssa and kept wanting her removed, but the cast and crew liked her, so the compromise was to sneak her into the script alongside Tegan. Tegan was the "foreign appeal" character because she was Australian, so SHE was safe until they came up with a "better" idea.
I honestly don't remember Adric at all. Even though he's from the same era and the fanbase apparently considers him one of the most annoying and hated characters in the franchise. I guess he was so annoying I blocked him out.
My own country had an odd relationship with classic Who. I remember when I was VERY young it used to be on quite late at night and Tom Baker was the Doctor. Then it got moved to an after-school timeslot and also reverted back to somewhere in the middle of the Jon Pertwee era for some reason.
I don't remember the Sixth Doctor at all. I must have seen him because I do remember his companion Perpugilliam Brown, both because of the silly name (she was meant to be American. Make sense?) and because she was a rather attractive young woman in fairly fanservicey outfits and I used to feel vaguely happy to see her on screen even if I still wasn't mature enough to understand why.
Spoiler: Sigh.
Spoiler: Yes, Lily does know the words. She just likes it her way.
Spoiler: Touch of writer's block.
Spoiler: Apologies to Neal Stephenson
I have absolutely no idea what Charlotte's callsign is. Probably had a wolf theme, to be honest.
Spoiler: the opinions stated in this strip are of fictional characters. About other fictional characters. don't look at me, I just wrote their lines
Spoiler: Societies' to blame. Should be a law against it.
EDIT: I missed alogical step somewhere. Added a panel. Hope it makes sense now.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as Templates (have we seriously not done this yet?)
This one goes out to Flickerdart, for whom I happened upon a sig quote that makes this hilarious.
Half-Hamster (Inherited Template)
Half-Hamster is a template that can be added to any living creature.
Size and Type: Size decreases by one category, to a minimum of small, and humanoids who gain this template become monstrous humanoids. Do not recalculate HP, BAB, Saves, or skills.
Hit Dice: Unchanged.
Speed: Unchanged. Half-Hamsters are naturally quick for their size.
AC: Half-Hamsters have a +2 natural armor bonus unless the base creature possesses a better one, in which case unchanged.
Special Attacks:
Pounce (Ex): As MM ability.
Special Qualities: Low-Light Vision (Ex), Scent (Ex), as description in Monster Manual.
Elderberry Resistance (Ex): Half-Hamsters gain a +2 resistance bonus on saves against ingested poisons.
Abilities: Adjust based on size, then add the following: +2 Dexterity, +2 Constitution. Half-Hamsters are swift and hardy.
Skills: Half-Hamsters gain a +4 racial bonus on Move Silent checks.
Feats: Half-Hamsters gain Improved Initiative as a bonus feat.
Alignment: Half-Hamsters are usually chaotic, but share their parent race's predilection towards moral alignment.
CR: +1/2, to a minimum of 1/2. Round down.
LA: +1.
Appearance: Half-Hamsters look like their parent races, albeit with twitchy noses and random tufts of fur. A rare (5%) of Half-Hamsters possess a small bone horn (1d4 for small, 20/x2 crit).
Explanation: Came across a sig-quote of Flicker's thought this wold be funny.

Theif 'Til the End
Some creatures are destined to live their lives as an example of exceptional skill. Blessed by Olidarma for their cunning and sleights of hand, they return the favor by shaking up the world.
Creating A Theif 'Til the End
"Theif 'Til the End" is an acquired template that can be added to any corporeal aberration, animal, dragon, fey, giant, humanoid, magical beast, monstrous humanoid, ooze, plant, or vermin of nonchaotic alignment.
Size and Type: Unchanged
Special Attacks:
Swipe (Ex): Once per day, the creature may use Sleight of Hand as a free action.
Special Qualities:
Seduction (Ex): As a Swashbuckler of the creature's character level.

Re: [3.5/PF] GitP Regulars as Templates (have we seriously not done this yet?)
Huh. I will take that as a tangential compliment, too, since the template is suppose to be me.
I'd guess Snow was sweet on me with that, but I haven't found the dead bodies of any of my exes in my closet, nor anything else.
So either I haven't the perception to notice, or the guess would be wrong.
