    Default Choosing spells for NPCs

Is there any quick way to choose which spells an NPC prepared caster would have ready? the reason I ask is I'm putting together a Wizard/Cleric/Mystic Theurge NPC to throw against my party but that is a ton of spells.

Look for a list of top quality spells for both classes and use those. You will have some redundancy but that is the simplest

Prepare a generic list for each of the casting classes you use frequently. Pick out a few of the highest level spells for the current NPC then apply the generic list to the rest of his remaining slots.

Prepared casters, more often than not, belong to organizations. This explains away commonality in their lower level spell preparations while individual personality explains the higher level choices.

Spontaneous casters should probably be individually built but they are, thankfully, much rarer than prepared casters.
