On strip 633, Where Do You See Yourself in Five Million Years?, V asks if the Archfiends are going to GIVE him what he/she needs to save his/her children, to which the answer he/she gets is:
"Give? do we look like socialists?!".

Funny thing is that the three of them are clad in red capes and red is the colour typically associated with Socialism!

I feel like that one isn't intentional, I thought the robes were more an orangish brown.

-"Lord Tyrinar The Bloody" in 759 is the Harry Potter joke from 253.
-In 861, Malack specifically mentions the door to be "airtight" because otherwise he could mist through it.
-Thrym's High Priest's "reasons" are that Thrym is working for Hel. I have no idea how I never got that one.

As you can plainly see, I'm really not good at noticing connections between multiple comics.

Actually, the person speaking through the half-giant's mouth in #1012 is Thrym himself. His "reasons" are that Hel said she'd make him her consort, which seems to be something he'd (reasonably) rather keep private.

Maybe we could get a few of our recurring villains to fight one another, to thin the herd? I would pay a handsome sum to see the Linear Guild and that paladin battle for our amusement. Perhaps in some manner of gladiatorial arena...

About five-hundred strips later, and we have:

• A gladiatorial arena.
• In which two characters (who, while they certainly aren't villains, are definitely antagonists to the Order for most of their appearance in the story arc) being made to fight each other for (one of) the Order's amusement.
• And one villain killing off another, at least in part for the explicit purpose of thinning the herd.

Blackwing subverts the natural order of things caring for V's restoration, while naturally it would be the contrary (master caring for familiar). This just shows how incompetent V is in social interactions, and that they are a pair that complement one another.

I suspect Redcloak was thinking of the aerospace applications for Titanium. I guess those applications depend on wings. So this does look like an error though a fairly geeky one.

I just assumed the titanium elemental was hollow. Because titanium so much stronger in tension than stone is, it wouldn't need to be solid to be even stronger than an earth elemental.
