Physics absolutely do not apply to anything done by these characters.

Bruce was just as big a jerk then as he is now.

Well, we are talking about Bruce Wayne after all. What did you expect?
Not that that waiter is a very good example... I mean it is possible to say "We have no rootbeer" without being a condescending jerk.

Not in a fancy restaurant. Snooty waiters are part of the ambience there.

Snooty, hipster waiter. Double the 'punch in the face' factor.

Yeah...both kids are being pretty dickish. But I feel it makes sense as exaggerations of their personality flaws due to being far from fully-developed adults yet, plus some additional kiddy ones (adult PG is not obsessed with horses, of course)

Assumption based on the nonexistence of any hints of it in any official story with her in it, even the ones which show her life outside of super-heroing and the place in which she lives, including a story arc in which she was teaching a friend from a subterranean civilization about life in the surface.

Because that's the actual Supergirl's schtick.

Granted, they're alternate versions of the same person, and only Supergirl actually got a creepy horse with super powers that lusted after her.

And Alfred continues to be one of my most favorite characters with Comic Number 220. I imagine him speaking with the voice of Captain Picard, now.

The formatting works best if you read it on the tumblr, rather than the comic site (actually unaffiliated but approved by the author) linked in this thread.

Mmh, i had no problem with the text. I felt the hit in my feelings for Bruce there, even if it seems to be deserved. I think this conversation will help him quite a bit to grow as a person.

Besides, i think he already got slapped enough, judging by the last panel..

Hal didn't really found Big Foot and Bruce's date isn't really one.

But it seems they both get to realize something important about friendship. Hal did in #190 and Bruce now in #222.

Also, I like Karen better now.

Up some one year and some time later.
    I can't figure why I considered that Bruce's date wasn't exactly one.

Not much page since, but I still love this webcomic. And wow,#260 may be the darker strip yet. Quite unexpected.

Oh. Right. Kid's still Batman. Kinda forgot that this comes with having Bruce Wayne around.

No really, up to this point canon Bruce backstory and JL8 Bats didn't even connect in my head.
