I wonder if these last 15 pages, in which we saw a lot of people we already know about doing things we could easily expect, will have any bearing on the rest of the issue.

So Clevin is actually Patrick-aka-Menace who uses his psychic powers to make people believe in a projection. (Remember how Clevin works the projector in a cinema? It's a cute little joke about how he is, himself, projected.) Mr Gurwara was another of Menace's illusory puppets.

And the weird flashes of psychic pain and some little dog too? It's also Patrick. He's being attacked by something and calling for help. Since he's still intent on using the Clevin persona once things calm down, he found a pretext to make him disappear without arousing suspicion.

The "everyone in the comic is secretly an incarnation of this one character" conjecture seems to have come up in the comments of a lot of the webcomics I follow.
Order of the Stick: Everyone is actually Trigak
Gunnerkrigg Court: Everyone is actually Coyote
Sister Claire: Everyone is actually Claire/Clementine
Supernormal Step: Everyone is actually Danny Song/Kite/Kaye (although this one matches reasonably well with a good chunk of the comic)

And now SFP: Everyone is actually a projection of Patrick.

Im going with his power has exceeded his ability to shut things out. The only solution is getting blackout drunk to shut his mind off for awhile. Or its a trick and he will be super smug when she falls for it. "Hey, I warned you it was an ambush."

I did not recognize that that was Patrick until reading comments. I think a mix of his changed face (drunk, some hair growth, sallow eyes) and slight changes in art style since his last appearance.

Still... cool. I'm curious to see if he's honest about not being drunk (e.g., maybe he's absorbed the drunkenness of another person, like how he used to absorb thoughts) or if that was just a prideful lie.

Could just be a regular lie, because he's drunk. It's a fairly classic trope/joke for drunk people to insist they are sober. They've only had six or seven beers, they swear to Officer that they're not God, drunk.

Patrick's still a fugitive, right? Shouldn't Alison be worried about explaining this to Alison (in the notorious criminal way, not the sorta ex way)

I don't _think_ he's a fugitive. He seems to have no trouble keeping his day job at Templar Industries as 'assistant to the CEO'.

I thought Menace was a fugitive, but the government doesn't know that Patrick is Menace. Allison did threaten to hand him over to the government.

You are correct, the second Alison should have been Clevin. My impression was that it wasn't known that Patrick was the assistant to the CEO, that this was a secret.

Yes patrick, that IS more sad. Its sad for a different reason than thinking you were into self harm though. Its sad that your powers were so overwhelming that it took self harm to be able to identify your own body at times.

    „You're looking down on me.”
    „You are on the floor.”

Alison is awfully literal minded for a student of philosophy.

Still, I wonder was Patrick was thinking visiting her.
I hope it goes beyond a drunken „You know who I haven't seen in a while? My good friend Alison. You know what? I should visit her. Right now. Before I'm sober enough to remember why that's a bad idea. Hic”

    Forget spraying Patrick with water.
Someone whack him with a rolled up newspaper.

    Or sew his mouth shut.

Hmm, its been awhile since I read the comic (Up to the point where he chased clevin out of the apartment) Interesting comment from the evil overlord portion of patrick. So if I had to guess, his negative thoughts are growing in strength due to the fracturing of his mind from his growing powers. This makes sense, his evil thoughts by nature would be more ruthless and aggressive, taking any opportunity to grow. Allison is his achilles heel though. He honestly LIKES her, which weakens evil thoughts power so long as she is around. But if he crushes her mind and can take full control, amoral evil overlord patrick will be back in business, though its hard to say how effective he will be. I imagine he may THINK he can rebuild the entire mind in his evil image, but I bet there would be serious holes in the landscape from wiping out the other factions.
