The letters on the page swirl before Ark, a hypnotizing effect, clearly trying to implant some sort of suggestion, but he manages to tear himself away, feeling very disoriented. Whatever the message, it is encrypted with a powerful magick that he cannot break!

Ark tears his eyes away, throwing the letter to the ground. Damn, it's protected by some weird magic. We don't want to look at it until we get it dispelled.
Ark gets up carefully, and peers at the other things Teb found. That's a fair amount of money... the easterners' mouth perks up in a grin. Excellent.
"He" turns to the sailors. Right, how long will it take to sail to Arabel.
