    Default Rival Warlord

What if... Ansom pays the folks over at Magic Kingdom for that ultimate warlord spell? The Alliance can pool the money and after a few turns with Parson, he might need some help. I don't see this happening anytime soon, but it might be a good plot twist for the next story arc or something.

Wait, what happens if they do that, and get Parson again
    Then stanley summons him back...
    and Ansom summons him again...
And so he's on stanlys side for one turn while ansom summons him, then he's running Ansoms army the other turn, then he goes back to commanding the GK troops...

The Alliance will want a Warlord or Warlords who have beaten Parson in the past. Which is why I suspect that we will eventually see the rest of Parson's gaming group from Earth in this comic. Remember, Parson told them they would be fighting against everything vile and unholy (ie. Parson's side of the war)

Where does this come from? He's shown some signs of introspection, and he listens to the advice from his officers. It seems a little like you're commenting on Ansom as you would write him instead of how he's being presented in the comic.

This would presume that Ansom has any idea of the existence of such a spell, and further, that the Magic Kingdom is neutral territory for both sides in the conflict. I have a suspicion it ISN'T, which is why Ansom has no Lookamancers--they won't give them to him!

Actually, if it's neutral territory then it is up to them whether or not they would want to give Ansom the aid of Lookamancers... Spells are one thing but lookamancers maybe another. The thing is, Spells just cost money, but how many lookamancers, from a neautral kingdom, is willing to fight in a war (even if they will be on the sidelines)... The magic Kingdom may have spells for sale, but not any mancers...

Also, Parson does mention that one problem that gobwinknob has is that is has NO allies... so their not allied with Stanely

maybe, but either way he is convinced they have an easy victory ahead of them. Rememebr his speech about against stanley they will be as the titans themselves. But maybe this report he got will change his mind.

Wanda told Jillian at least part of the story about the spell, but we don't know:

    1. Whether Wanda told Jillian what the spell actually did,

    2. Whether Jillian remembers the conversation (she might be carrying a head full of false memories, and honestly believe that she escaped through the tunnels after refusing to say jack-boop under interrogation)

    3. Whether Jillian is willing to talk about it -- for one thing, it raises the question of how she found out; describing a causal girl-talk chat with Wanda leads directly to the issue of:

    4. Whether anything Jillian says at this point will be believed

Well, if the odds were 25 to 1 in your favor, you had atleast 4 times the forces needed to take over the city, you have won every battle up to this point, AND your enemy has shown time and time again that they were incompitent; wouldn't you be confident that you had an easy victory coming up?

really, if it were not for Parson, it's pretty much a fact that this would have been an easy victory for Ansom... The dwagons were the only theat Stanely had left, but they alone wouldn't come close to winning the war for Stanely (without Parson's leadership that is)

You bring up an interesting point. Perhaps that is why the Lookamancers are chained to the table.

it's been a failing throughout history. You win a bunch of battles, think you can't loose, and oops you do.
