This made me laugh out loud.

So, I'm in a PPR league and am currently going up against a tough opponent. I'm pretty stacked at wide receiver and fairly solid at tight end to the point where I know I'm going to be leaving some good points on the bench no matter what, but I'm still stressed about it anyway.

Here's are my current WRs and TEs:

    WR:

    1.) Larry Fitzgerald (ARI)
    2.) Devin Funchess (CAR)
    3.) Terrelle Pryor, Sr. (WAS)
    4.) Donte Moncrief (IND)
    5.) Travis Benjamin (LAC)

    TE:

    1.) Jordan Reed (WAS)
    2.) Austin Seferian-Jenkins (NYJ)
    3.) Zach Miller (CHI)*

*EDIT: Dropped Tyler Eifert (who's now officially done for the season) and picked up Zach Miller as he was the best option at TE left in my league.

Now, here's my dilemma: My league has two WR spots, one TE spot, and a flex spot where you can put a WR, TE, or RB. RB is out of the question as I am weak there, so I'm left with a WR or TE. My thinking is that I start Fitzgerald and Funchess in the WR spots, have Reed in the TE spot, and the flex...well, I'm torn on whether to put Pryor or Seferian-Jenkins there. ASJ has played well the last two weeks for the Jets and he faces a New England defense that has been putrid, but Pryor also normally gets a lot of looks from Kirk Cousins and it's hard to tell on any given week who'll get the TDs between him and Reed.

What do you all think? ASJ over Pryor, or some other order entirely?

I'm starting ASJ in one of my leagues, for what that is worth.

Personally, I would go with him over Pryor. For one, as you so astutely pointed out, the New England defense is absolutely putrid. For another, Pryor is still new enough to the team that he doesn't have full chemistry with Cousins yet.

    That's my opinion anyway.

    Addendum:

If anyone still has Alfred Morris available in their league, I recommend picking him up. McFadden is rusty, and Elliot is highly unlikely to see the field in Week 7 and an additional five weeks following.

Yeah, the ban is upheld, which, whatever. I just want them to stop and make a final decision that can't be changed.

I'm stuck with backups and starters who haven't panned out. I'm third in my league in points and 2-3. Gano got me a good chunk for a kicker today at least. But I gotta rely on Philip Rivers, Michael Thomas, Coby Fleener, and Andre Ellington. Yeah, Andre Ellington. Oh, and Diggs is gonna be playing hurt. Kareem Hunt's gonna have to carry my team again, and he better had since the Steelers have a terrible run defense. In the above comment though, in our league, Morris is taken, but McFadden isn't. Gonna grab him and drop Jonathan Stewart, because, really, when are the Panthers EVER gonna use him? McFadden's on bye this week though, so oh well.

I mean the whole Ezekiel Elliot saga reminds me of the BS with Tom Brady more than anything. Months of legal wrangling and finally he served what... 4 game suspension?

My understanding is that the court didn't actually RULE on any of the merits, they just removed the temporary injunction against the NFL that was preventing them serving the suspension. Given its a full week and a half until they play, he's already filed another appeal and it looks pretty likely he's not actually going to be suspended yet. But I guess we'll see.

I'm actually laughing so hard at my fantasy team this year. So far in a 12 man league I've only scored 447 points (an average of 89.4 points, which isn't that good for a 12 person league).

But I'm 5-0. Why? Because I've only had 357.5 points scored against me - an average of 71.5 points a week.

Its ludicrous how lucky I'm being so far.

    ALL HAIL THE GREAT RAK!!

I use the same name in every game I ever play or forum I join (except the pretender on PSN that forced me to be RealOlinser). If you see an Olinser in a game or on a website, there's a high chance it's me, feel free to shoot me a message.

Looks like Matt Forte is slated to play, which makes me feel real smart that I picked him up in free agency last week when we was injured.

Of course, he'll probably only get like 4 points, which will wash away that smart feeling. Still, given how weak I am at RB I had to take a chance on him.

Marcus Mariota listed as a game-time decision - on MNF.

My other QB is on a bye, and if I hang on to Mariota and he doesn't play, my only available option will be Brisette in the putrid Colts offense.

I'm thinking I need to pick up a QB...

Brisket has done fine in Luck's absence. It'd be fine putting him in for one game.

My perception of him may be severely biased from the only Colts game I've watched this year. They were playing Seattle, in Seattle. It's a good point though, thanks for the reminder.

My primary concern is I may not be home from work in time to check QB status and do the necessary adjustments. Also would not be surprised to see someone in that league pick up Brisette before i get home from work, just to stop me from getting him.

    Update:

After seeing more and more indications that Mariota will either be out or severely limited on Monday night, I started checking the FA list now, before the remaining QBs rae locked by the afternoon games. Dropped Mariota for Carson Palmer.

ASJ. It worked out quite well for me! I'm still going to lose this week, but I'm going to lose knowing that I played my best players and didn't leave many points on the board. Nothing worse than having one of your bench players score 20 points while the guy you started in his place only got 5, am I right?

    Michael Thomas: 1.1 points
    Andre Ellington: goose egg
    Coby Fleener: goose egg

    I just...why...

And how can those two Saints have so little when they scored over 50 points? How can Pittsburgh's terrible run defense hold Kareem Hunt to 21 yards? Just...why?

Sad part is I can still win if DeMarco Murray does better than Ryan Succop and TY Hilton tomorrow. Of course he won't, because Murray has been a hot bag of garbage just like the rest of my top picks.

So let's see how I did this week:

Lose Marshawn Lynch for part of this week and all of next week? Check.

Sit Amari Cooper because he's played poorly all season? Check.

Lose Carson Palmer to a broken arm? Check.

Yep, my season is running true to form.....

And despite that I'm still going to win one league, have a 50/50 chance of the second (will update later), and an actual snowball's chance of the third...

I did these two as well. Thankfully, I have a good back-up QB, and Cooper will be started from here on.

I ended up playing Alex Collins. Before I grabbed him, I had never heard of him.

Of course I lost. I had two Titans as game-time decisions (neither did well anyway), and Stefon Diggs off, Marvin Jones on a bye. Yeah. My teams is so garbage at this point, I'm disappointed I can't play Marvin freaking Jones. I don't know what to do with McFadden because of the issues with Zeke. Not that it matters since my best option to pick up in free agency was Alex Collins.

I have a bit of a dilemma in one of my leagues, and would love to get some input from this thread.

    My line-up options are:

RB: C.J. Anderson, Devonta Freeman, Lamar Miller, Alfred Morris
WR: Amari Cooper, Tyreek Hill, Michael Thomas
    TE: Jordan Reed, Austin Seferian-Jenkins

I'm allowed to start 2 RB, 2 WR, 1TE, and one Flex spot that can be either of the three.

I'm leaning towards Anderson and Freeman as RB, Cooper and Thomas on WR, and Reed on TE.

Who of the remaining players should I put in my flex spot? I already figured out that Miller against the Seattle run defense is a lost cause...

36 points later (we start at 20 but you also lose points for yards given up)....

Michael Thomas is a god receiver, but he's TD dependent and a bit match-up sensitive, which makes him look inconsistent at first glance. Dez Bryant has looked wildly inconsistent this year as well, but looking closer at the teams he has faced reveals that he's been facing difficult match-ups. Like D&D, there's more to fantasy football than stats and numbers.

If we're all still here next year, we should absolutely try and get a league going. I can bring another player with me, so count me twice when counting how many owners we'll have.

The weather in this Falcons-Jets game is hurting me in both leagues...!

I played the matchups and lost. I mean, the Pats have given up 300+ yards to every quarterback so far, so I picked Philip Rivers over Russell Wilson against the Texans solid D. I picked up Alex Collins in a desperation last week, and threw him on my bench this week, and he doubled Kareem Hunt's points. Played the Vikings defense against Cleveland, because the Browns, and my other defense, the Panthers, got twice as many points. I give up.

Well, holy crap. I was up five points, with Marvin Jones left. Problem was, I was going up against Matt Stafford. I need Stafford to throw everything at Jones.

For once, he actually did. Hundred yards and two TD's. I guess I'm 3-6 now, and still boned.
