Gunnerkrigg Court, which is on your list, has great illustration, intriguing storyline/s, and very distictly characterised cast. Great webcomic and I love it. Kind of reminds me of Michael Ende's works (The Neverending Story, Momo etc).

    Hope this helps

Secret Of Mana Theater-Admittedly it's not a webcomic per se, but rather animated episodes. But it's still good.

The basic plot is that of Secret Of Mana but it's diverged from the basic "game plot" and striked down on it's own unique path.

I'll admit; I've been being lazy and procrastinating on this thread for a while. I finished Page 6 and am starting to work on Page 7 now. I'm open to anyone who has any suggestions, because I just can't seem to find a better way than copying and pasting each URL one at a time.

Also, can anyone get into contact with Wukei and kindly ask her to delete her two posts at the beginning of this thread? They're kind of in the way. She seems to have her PM's off in her User CP, because I've tried PMing her before, with no response.

    A Journey of the Heart.

    the website is geocities.com/sammisammichan

Summary-A dysfunctional party of adventurers departs from the local bar in search of a quest.
Content-Nothing bad, as of yet. Some mild cursing, but that's about all. There could be blood and violence later.
Rating-I am not qualified to rate this webcomic, as it is my own, and as such, I would be biased toward it.

A couple web comics I haven't seen posted in the list:

Elsie Hooper- It's a black and white sort of horror/action comic set in a small new england town. The monsters in it kind of look like Glooms with eyes. [Strong Violence]

The Site Map- My own comic. It's got a long, strange story behind it. Not for those easily (or at all) offended by graphic sex, violence, or any mixture of the two. [Sex] [Strong Violence]

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal- Single panel gag strip. Really quite funny. [Naughty Words]

Dresden Codak Beautiful art and delightfully odd. The Summer Dream Job panel is especially good.

Nobody Scores The art isn't as good as DC but it makes up for it with a lovely streak of dark vicious humour. And randomeness.

Culture Shock Time travelling knights and ninjas.

Punch and Pie The sequel to Queen of Wands, with art by the dude what does striptease.

    Hookie Dookie Panic More krazyness

Heh, just found Dresden Codak today, or yesterday by now, in my timezone. Great comic, quite a bit of science humor too.

The Perry Bible Fellowship - Varied art styles and a hilariously deranged sense of humor. Caution: Contains some nudity.

You should warn that Pawn is not-quite-but-nearly Prawn. Phonetically that is. If you see what I mean. T&A aplenty, and the theme is very naughty. No actual sex scene, but a lot of suggestive ones.

Other comics not on the list:
The Beevnicks, another comic not for kids. Nudity is unfrequent, but the themes are adult. Sarcastic, often offensive.

Buck Godot, Zapgun for Hire, by Phil Foglio (of Girl Genius fame), a noir space opera with a fat and grumpy detective. Very fun and quite retro.

Chasing the Sunset, this one is kid-friendly. Fantasy comic, very cute, about a young elf boy looking for his missing father.

Dresden Codak, already nominated, but I second it. Nice art, weird storylines, quite high-brow.

Elf Only Inn, about roleplaying on the Internet. First in an IRC chatroom, now in a MMORPG.

Everything you know is right! Sci-fi comic about a near future in which the Illuminati rule the world, and only cheap tabloids may oppose their rule! People who liked Deus Ex (the action/RPG computer game) will love it.

Faux Pas. Cutesy for the young'uns. A farm of animal actors.

Full Frontal Nerdity. No need to tell you who Aaron Williams is, right? The guy who draws Nodwick. Well, he also draws this.

Metrophor and Mixed Myth. Metrophor is a young comic with a strange setting (a bit like Eberron but weirder). Mixed Myth is the Metrophor's artist's previous comic, and a finished run, with a simpler setting full of fantasy creature. Toward the end, the art is gorgeous.

Nodwick. It's not on the list? You're joking, right? The misadventures of a henchman carrying treasures and, erm, disarming traps for a small band of high-level adventurers. Has been published in Dragon and Dungeon magazines for a long, long while.

Penny & Aggie. College comic about girl cliques, not the most original theme. But the art is very good, so take a look. (Well, at the time I type this, it's a guest week, so look in the archives.)

Pointless. Very nice. Sci-fi comic, a bunch of competing and backstabbing secret societies are fighting against a quasi-Lovecraftian alien menace. And to push their own agenda, too.

Rice Boy. Surreal comic with a unique style and theme. Can't easily be put in a genre or described. Take a look for yourself.

Scandal Sheet. Modern fantasy. A tabloid specialized in articles about yetis, aliens, vampires, and elvises. The thing is, many of the articles are actually true. The world seems quite influenced by White Wolf's World of Darkness. For the young readers, warning, one of the storylines involved the main character becoming a script writer for the porn industry...

The Dreamland Chronicles. Fantasy. A webcomic in CGI! A grown-up gets a souvenir from his childhood back, and starts reliving the dreams he made when he was a little boy. Except time has passed in his dreamworld too... Is it for real?

Wondermark. Victorian illustrations hijacked for surrealistic or anachronistic situations. Very silly.

Yet Another Fantasy Gaming Comic. The title says it all. But despite this apparent blandness and genericity, it's quite good. Plus, it's updated daily. Occasional nudity, as some creatures like harpies don't wear clothing. (And the YAFGC harpies are rather cute, contrarily to the standard D&D ones.)

Zortic, space opera, parodic comic. Like in Melonpool (which is referenced on the list, and has often "crossovered" with Zortic by the way), the main character is a fan of Star Trek...
