Smoking enchantment
Hey guys, just finished equipping a backup character (Rogue2/Fighter2/Warblade/Warshaper4).
He has an adamantium greatsword+1 with the smoking enchantment. However, I cannot figure out what the fortitude save DC should be for enemies that are affected.
Any ideas what the DC would be?
(Also, the way I'm planning on making it work is by doing a lot of bull rushing, which would work, right?)
EDIT: I think the minimum it could be is 15? (Minimum DC is 10, smoking enchantment needs min caster level of 5 (so minimum +2 modifier), and the spell is a level 3 spell. 10+2+3=15) Is that right?Last edited by Shnigda; 2016-02-06 at 07:35 PM.

Re: Smoking enchantment
The description specifies that the noxious smoke is "equal to a stinking cloud spell". That's a 3rd level wizard spell
, so the save DC is 10 + 3 (spell level) = 13. For magic items, you don't add anything else from the caster, such as Int bonus. The caster level is mostly for dispel checks.[Edit: See below.]
Well, no. The result of the bull rush is either you push your opponent out of the square he was previously occupying, or you move 5' straight back to where you were before. If you want to end your turn with you and your opponent occupying the same square, then you'd want to grapple, not bull rush.Last edited by Darrin; 2016-02-07 at 02:12 PM.

Re: Smoking enchantment
Thanks for that, wasn't sure on the DM mechanics!
Though surely if the smoke reappears when you enter a new square, it would appear in the enemy's square once you initiate the bull rush and enter the enemy's square (thus making the enemy need to make the check)? Or do the mechanics of the smoke make it only reappear at the end of your turn?
